TEHRAN (ISNA)-Speaker of Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani condemned “American-Zionist” recent terrorist attack against the Iranian student.

Larijani speaking to the Parliament on Sunday condemned the US and Zionist regime for assassination of Dariush Rezai-Nejad, an Iranian scholar, and pointed out, “this act shows the hostility of the US toward Iran. America considers such measures (terrorist measures) in its fake world management array allowable, but

they had better think deeply about the consequences of these attempts.”

Dariush Rezai-Nejad, studying power at Khajeh Nasir Toosi University of Technology was shot dead on Saturday by unknown assailants on a motorcycle. He was killed in front of his home in the capital after two gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on him in the neck.

Larijani then turned to the issue of PJAK terrorist group’s recent attacks and said, “the US tries to improve its defeated gesture by resorting to terrorist groups.”

“At the moment, it is the America’s last breath in the region and it resorts to terrorist groups to cover up its failures. Everyone knows that these road bombing operations have no military values, so it is rooted in other issues, media smear campaign, to improve the harmed gesture of America in the region.”
