HISTORY OF SECRET EXPERIMENTATION

ON UNITED STATES CITIZENS

1931
Dr. Cornelius Rhoads, under the auspices of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Investigations, infects human subjects with cancer cells. He later goes on to establish the U.S. Army Biological Warfare facilities in Maryland, Utah, and Panama, and is named to the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. While there, he begins a series of radiation exposure experiments on American soldiers and civilian hospital patients.

1932
The Tuskegee Syphilis Study begins. 200 black men diagnosed with syphilis are never told of their illness, are denied treatment, and instead are used as human guinea pigs in order to follow the progression and symptoms of the disease. They all subsequently die from syphilis, their families never told that they could have been treated.

1935
The Pellagra Incident. After millions of individuals die from Pellagra over a span of two decades, the U.S. Public Health Service finally acts to stem the disease. The director of the agency admits it had known for at least 20 years that Pellagra is caused by a niacin deficiency but failed to act since most of the deaths occured within poverty-striken black populations.

1940
Four hundred prisoners in Chicago are infected with Malaria in order to study the effects of new and experimental drugs to combat the disease. Nazi doctors later on trial at Nuremberg cite this American study to defend their own actions during the Holocaust.

1942
Chemical Warfare Services begins mustard gas experiments on approximately 4,000 servicemen. The experiments continue until 1945 and made use of Seventh Day Adventists who chose to become human guinea pigs rather than serve on active duty.

1943
In response to Japan’s full-scale germ warfare program, the U.S. begins research on biological weapons at Fort Detrick, MD.
1944 U.S. Navy uses human subjects to test gas masks and clothing. Individuals were locked in a gas chamber and exposed to mustard gas and lewisite.

1945
Project Paperclip is initiated. The U.S. State Department, Army intelligence, and the CIA recruit Nazi scientists and offer them immunity and secret identities in exchange for work on top secret government projects in the United States.
1945 “Program F” is implemented by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). This is the most extensive U.S. study of the health effects of fluoride, which was the key chemical component in atomic bomb production. One of the most toxic chemicals known to man, fluoride, it is found, causes marked adverse effects to the central nervous system but much of the information is squelched in the name of national security because of fear that lawsuits would undermine full-scale production of atomic bombs.

1946
Patients in VA hospitals are used as guinea pigs for medical experiments. In order to allay suspicions, the order is given to change the word “experiments” to “investigations” or “observations” whenever reporting a medical study performed in one of the nation’s veteran’s hospitals.

1947
Colonel E.E. Kirkpatrick of the U.S. Atomic Energy Comission issues a secret document (Document 07075001, January 8, 1947) stating that the agency will begin administering intravenous doses of radioactive substances to human subjects.

1947
The CIA begins its study of LSD as a potential weapon for use by American intelligence. Human subjects (both civilian and military) are used with and without their knowledge.
1950 Department of Defense begins plans to detonate nuclear weapons in desert areas and monitor downwind residents for medical problems and mortality rates.

1950
In an experiment to determine how susceptible an American city would be to biological attack, the U.S. Navy sprays a cloud of bacteria from ships over San Franciso. Monitoring devices are situated throughout the city in order to test the extent of infection. Many residents become ill with pneumonia-like symptoms.

1951
Department of Defense begins open air tests using disease-producing bacteria and viruses. Tests last through 1969 and there is concern that people in the surrounding areas have been exposed.

1953
U.S. military releases clouds of zinc cadmium sulfide gas over Winnipeg, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Fort Wayne, the Monocacy River Valley in Maryland, and Leesburg, Virginia. Their intent is to determine how efficiently they could disperse chemical agents.

1953
Joint Army-Navy-CIA experiments are conducted in which tens of thousands of people in New York and San Francisco are exposed to the airborne germs Serratia marcescens and Bacillus glogigii.

1953
CIA initiates Project MKULTRA. This is an eleven year research program designed to produce and test drugs and biological agents that would be used for mind control and behavior modification. Six of the subprojects involved testing the agents on unwitting human beings.

1955
The CIA, in an experiment to test its ability to infect human populations with biological agents, releases a bacteria withdrawn from the Army’s biological warfare arsenal over Tampa Bay, Fl.

1955
Army Chemical Corps continues LSD research, studying its potential use as a chemical incapacitating agent. More than 1,000 Americans participate in the tests, which continue until 1958.

1956
U.S. military releases mosquitoes infected with Yellow Fever over Savannah, Ga and Avon Park, Fl. Following each test, Army agents posing as public health officials test victims for effects.

1958
LSD is tested on 95 volunteers at the Army’s Chemical Warfare Laboratories for its effect on intelligence.

1960
The Army Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Intelligence (ACSI) authorizes field testing of LSD in Europe and the Far East. Testing of the european population is code named Project THIRD CHANCE; testing of the Asian population is code named Project DERBY HAT.

1965
CIA and Department of Defense begin Project MKSEARCH, a program to develop a capability to manipulate human behavior through the use of mind-altering drugs.

1965
Prisoners at the Holmesburg State Prison in Philadelphia are subjected to dioxin, the highly toxic chemical component of Agent Orange used in Viet Nam. The men are later studied for development of cancer, which indicates that Agent Orange had been a suspected carcinogen all along.

1966
CIA initiates Project MKOFTEN, a program to test the toxicological effects of certain drugs on humans and animals.

1966
U.S. Army dispenses Bacillus subtilis variant niger throughout the New York City subway system. More than a million civilians are exposed when army scientists drop lightbulbs filled with the bacteria onto ventilation grates.

1967
CIA and Department of Defense implement Project MKNAOMI, successor to MKULTRA and designed to maintain, stockpile and test biological and chemical weapons.

1968
CIA experiments with the possibility of poisoning drinking water by injecting chemicals into the water supply of the FDA in Washington, D.C.

1969
Dr. Robert MacMahan of the Department of Defense requests from congress $10 million to develop, within 5 to 10 years, a synthetic biological agent to which no natural immunity exists.

1970
Funding for the synthetic biological agent is obtained under H.R. 15090. The project, under the supervision of the CIA, is carried out by the Special Operations Division at Fort Detrick, the army’s top secret biological weapons facility. Speculation is raised that molecular biology techniques are used to produce AIDS-like retroviruses.

1970
United States intensifies its development of “ethnic weapons” (Military Review, Nov., 1970), designed to selectively target and eliminate specific ethnic groups who are susceptible due to genetic differences and variations in DNA.

1975
The virus section of Fort Detrick’s Center for Biological Warfare Research is renamed the Fredrick Cancer Research Facilities and placed under the supervision of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) . It is here that a special virus cancer program is initiated by the U.S. Navy, purportedly to develop cancer-causing viruses. It is also here that retrovirologists isolate a virus to which no immunity exists. It is later named HTLV (Human T-cell Leukemia Virus).

1977
Senate hearings on Health and Scientific Research confirm that 239 populated areas had been contaminated with biological agents between 1949 and 1969. Some of the areas included San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Key West, Panama City, Minneapolis, and St. Louis.

1978
Experimental Hepatitis B vaccine trials, conducted by the CDC, begin in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Ads for research subjects specifically ask for promiscuous homosexual men.

1981
First cases of AIDS are confirmed in homosexual men in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, triggering speculation that AIDS may have been introduced via the Hepatitis B vaccine.

1985
According to the journal Science (227:173-177), HTLV and VISNA, a fatal sheep virus, are very similar, indicating a close taxonomic and evolutionary relationship.

1986
According to the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (83:4007-4011), HIV and VISNA are highly similar and share all structural elements, except for a small segment which is nearly identical to HTLV. This leads to speculation that HTLV and VISNA may have been linked to produce a new retrovirus to which no natural immunity exists.

1986
A report to Congress reveals that the U.S. Government’s current generation of biological agents includes: modified viruses, naturally occurring toxins, and agents that are altered through genetic engineering to change immunological character and prevent treatment by all existing vaccines.

1987
Department of Defense admits that, despite a treaty banning research and development of biological agents, it continues to operate research facilities at 127 facilities and universities around the nation.

1990
More than 1500 six-month old black and hispanic babies in Los Angeles are given an “experimental” measles vaccine that had never been licensed for use in the United States. CDC later admits that parents were never informed that the vaccine being injected to their children was experimental.

1994
With a technique called “gene tracking,” Dr. Garth Nicolson at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX discovers that many returning Desert Storm veterans are infected with an altered strain of Mycoplasma incognitus, a microbe commonly used in the production of biological weapons. Incorporated into its molecular structure is 40 percent of the HIV protein coat, indicating that it had been man-made.

1994
Senator John D. Rockefeller issues a report revealing that for at least 50 years the Department of Defense has used hundreds of thousands of military personnel in human experiments and for intentional exposure to dangerous substances. Materials included mustard and nerve gas, ionizing radiation, psychochemicals, hallucinogens, and drugs used during the Gulf War.

1995
U.S. Government admits that it had offered Japanese war criminals and scientists who had performed human medical experiments salaries and immunity from prosecution in exchange for data on biological warfare research.

1995
Dr. Garth Nicolson, uncovers evidence that the biological agents used during the Gulf War had been manufactured in Houston, TX and Boca Raton, Fl and tested on prisoners in the Texas Department of Corrections.

1996
Department of Defense admits that Desert Storm soldiers were exposed to chemical agents.

1997
Eighty-eight members of Congress sign a letter demanding an investigation into bioweapons use & Gulf War Syndrome.

The following pages are selected portions of another report on this website, The False Gospel in the Stars, which is an expose of the astrological signs that will be used to validate the credentials of the Antichrist and False Prophet. Many projections concerning the identities of these personages are often disinformation calculated to deceive. Adding to the general ignorance, there is little information coming forth in the way of exposure of the Merovingian dynasty as the Satanic bloodline from which the Antichrist and False Prophet will come.  Whatever lipservice is paid to this subject is usually accompanied by enough misinformation to keep the masses of Christians ignorant of the truth.

Yet the Bible presents specific evidence concerning the identities of the Antichrist and False Prophet, the Mark of the BeastMystery Babylon the Great and other entities that will be imperative for God’s elect to recognize during the Tribulation Period. For instance, Revelation 13:1, which identifies the Antichrist as “the beast that rises out of the sea,” becomes crystal clear upon discovery that a demonic bloodline that exists today that was originally sired by a mysterious “sea beast”—the Bistea Neptunis. Merovingian authors like Laurence Gardner inform their readers about the demonic bloodline of the Bistea Neptunis in New Age books such as Bloodline of the Holy Grail:

“It was the Arcadian legacy that was responsible for the the mysterious sea beast – the Bistea Neptunis – as symbolically defined in the Merovingian ancestry. The relevant sea-lord was King Pallas, a god of old Arcadia. His predecessor was the great Oceanus. The immortal sea-lord was said to be ‘ever-incarnate in a dynasty of ancient kings’ whose symbol was a fish…” (p. 175)

This demonic creature was Neptune, the mythological god of the sea who is said to have founded Atlantis, which is the pagan version of the pre-flood civilization which God judged in Genesis 7. Genesis 6:1-4 describes the intermarriage of mankind with demons:

“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”

It is possible that the cursed seed of the serpent continued after the Deluge through Noah’s son Ham. (Gen. 9:25) Gardner and other Merovingian authors claim there is a living descendant of this demonic bloodline who will one day rule over a revived Atlantis.

If the Bistea Neptunis is “ever-incarnate in a dynasty of ancient kings,” who is the living descendant of this Beast?  The high cabal of the Merovingians is the Prieuré de Sion in Paris which directs all other secret societies worldwide. Yet the Grand Master of the Prieuré de Sion remains largely unknown, except to New Agers whose network of secret societies functions as an occult underground. This most powerful individual on earth is well-hidden from the masses until the time appointed when, as the Scripture foretells, “that man of sin shall be revealed.” (II Thess. 2:3)

We believe that New Agers already know the identity of the False Christ, the False Prophet and various other Tribulation counterfeits through their study of astrology, as interpreted by a large body of occult tradition and the current propaganda proliferating through New Age publications. There is no reason that Christians, given the same information available to New Agers, and aided by a right understanding of Bible prophecy, cannot discern and rightly interpret this end-time enigma. The alternative is to be at the mercy of a massive disinformation campaign that is being conducted within the Christian community by the same New Age network which is planning the destruction of Christianity and return of mankind to paganism.

THE CULT OF THE BLACK VIRGIN

During the first century A.D., Alexandria, Egypt was a veritable hotbed of mystical activity, a crucible in which, according to Holy Blood, Holy Grail, “Judaic, Mithraic, Zoroastrian, Pythagorean, Hermetic, and neo-Platonic doctrines suffused the air and combined with innumerable others.” (31:123)  It was in the early centuries of the Christian era that the ancient worship of the Mother Goddess was introduced to Christianity by Jews who had fled Israel and embraced Alexandrian Neo-Platonism, which is just a rehash of Greek paganism. “The Neo-Platonists are Greek philosophers who lived long enough after Plato to have lost the name of Platonists as far as modern scholars are concerned (although they were intellectual disciples of Plato and considered themselves Platonists).” (942:72)

In ancient times, mankind worshipped the hosts of heaven, believing them to be gods and goddesses who ruled the world. Ancient man believed that the constellation Virgo was the Great Mother Goddess who ruled over a Golden Age called Lemuria, which preceded Atlantis. This astrological tradition was transmitted to successive pagan cultures through the ages of mankind. “Some of the mythological representations of Virgo are Nana, Eve, Istar, Demeter, Hecate, Themis, Hera, Astraea, Diana, Cybele, Isis, Fortuna, Erigone, Sibylla and the Virgin Mother. All representations of the Great Mother in some form. She who existed before the masculine gods of ancient and classical mythology.” (Stories of the Constellations: The Legend of Virgo905)

The Greek adaptation of Virgo, was Demeter, whose daughter Kore was abducted by Pluto, the god of the underworld. Kore would remain the dark lord’s queen and her name would no longer be Kore, the maiden, but Persephone, “she who is to be feared”.  The Alexandrian Jews who worshipped the Greek goddess, Kore, managed to convert their pagan goddess worship into a theologically respectable tradition called Gnosticism by giving the goddess the trappings of Christianity. Although they worshipped her as the Holy Virgin, “virginity” has an altogether different connotation to Gnostics than it does to Christians.

“Another important feature of the Gnostic tradition of Epiphany is that it is really a feminine holiday. St. Clement of Alexandria (c. 194) mentioned that the followers of the Gnostic master Basilides feasted on the day of the Baptism and kept a long vigil before it. Epiphanius (305-402) gave us a detailed description of how the Alexandrian Gnostics celebrated the Epiphany. They did this in the sanctuary of the Maiden Goddess Kore whom they equated with the image of the Holy Virgin. At midnight they descended with torches into the crypt of the temple and brought the wooden statue of Kore forth in procession. The Maiden was represented naked and sitting, with crosses marked on her brow, her hands and her knees. The statue was carried seven times around the central shrine and was then retired to the crypt once more. The Gnostics said that on this day, Kore, the Virgin, gave birth to the divine principle known as the Christ. It is from the feminine intuitive consciousness and feeling nature that the messianic power, of individuated consciousness is born. Thus the human nature of Jesus or Everyman is transformed into divine and spiritual nature by the holy female power, the Holy Spirit, in the initiation rite of baptism.” (Gnostic Liturgical Calendar834)

It is important to note that the heretic, Basilides, was an Gnostic Jew of Alexandria, as was his contemporary, the arch heretic Valentinus.

It was in the Gnostic culture of Alexandria that the Mother Goddess evolved into Mary Magdalene. Ean Begg wrote in The Cult of the Black Virgin that “…many of the finest Gnostic writings are of Alexandrian inspiration or origin. Alexandria is also the main source of Gnostic works linking Jesus with Mary Magdalene. According to this tradition it was through the Magdalen, rather than through Peter and the male apostles, that Jesus transmitted his secret doctrine.” (272:128)  In their endeavors to relocate the center of Christianity in Alexandria, Egypt, the Gnostics misrepresent Mary Magdalene as a native of the Magdolum in Egypt, which they associate with Migdol:

“There is no necessity to endeavor to crowbar [Mary Magdalene] into a Galilean setting, for there are other intriguing alternatives for her place of origin: although there was no ‘Magdala’ in Judea in her day, there was a Magdolum in Egypt – just across the border – which was probably the Migdol mentioned in Ezekiel.  There was a large and flourishing Jewish community in Egypt at that time, which was particularly centered on the great sea port of Alexandria, a seething cosmopolitan melting pot of many races, nationalities and religions  and perhaps where the Holy Family had fled to escape the depredations of Herod’s men.” (Mary Magdalene Files: 843)

There is no mention of Migdol in the book of Ezekiel, however the prophet Jeremiah reproved the apostate Jews who took up residence in Migdol, in Egypt, for disobeying the Lord who had commanded them to go with their countrymen to Babylon. The prophet Jeremiah specifically admonished the Jews in Egypt for their worship of the Mother Goddess:

The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they area desolation, and no man dwelleth therein, Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers…

Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine. And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men? – Jer. 44:1-3,15-19

Here it is apparent that the worship of the Mother Goddess, Virgo, under the appellation of Isis, spread from Egypt into Israel and from Israel to the centers of the Roman Empire:

“The cult of Isis was widespread in the Egypt of the dynastic period. From Egypt it spread northwards to Phoenicia, Syria and Palestine; to Asia Minor; to Cyprus, Rhodes, Crete, Samos and other islands in the Aegean; to many parts of mainland Greece – Corinth, Argos and Thessaly amongst them; to Malta and Sicily; and, finally, to Rome. In the first century BC, Isis was perhaps the most popular goddess in the Eternal City, from which her cult spread to the furthest limits of the Roman Empire, including Britain: her only rival was Mithras. – (Star Lore920)

In fact, the worship of the Virgin Mary in the Roman Catholic Church, along with the entire body of Catholic tradition, can be traced to the worship of Isis in Egypt. {See: Mystery Babylon the Great: Catholic or Jewish?}

“Immaculate is our Lady Isis…the very terms applied afterwards to that personage (the Virgin Mary) who succeeded to her form, titles, symbols, rites, and ceremonies… Thus, her devotees carried into the new priesthood the former badges of their profession, the obligation to celibacy, the tonsure, and the surplice, omitting, unfortunately, the frequent ablutions prescribed by the ancient creed. The ‘Black Virgins’, so highly reverenced in certain French cathedrals…proved, when at last critically examined, basalt figures of Isis!'” (Isis, the Black Virgin921)

In 412 A.D., Cyril of Alexandria became the Bishop of Alexandria. In Isis Unveiled, H.P. Blavatsky wrote: “…Cyril, the Bishop of Alexandria, had openly embraced the cause of Isis, the Egyptian goddess, and had anthropomorphized her into Mary, the mother of God…” (195:41, Vol.II)  During his bishopric, Cyril wrote passionately and voluminously against the Nestorian heresy, and was largely instrumental in having it condemned at the Council of Ephesus in 431.

The Third Ecumenical Council was held at Ephesus in Greece, whose philosophy and culture were, like Egypt, derived from the occult traditions of the pre-Flood civilization. The Council of Ephesus condemned the Nestorian heresy but approved the veneration of the Virgin Mary as “Theotokos” —the God-Bearer or Mother of God. Nestorius and the Nestorians were exiled to the Persian Empire and become the Assyrian Orthodox Church of the East. However, in what appears to have been a classic dialectical operation, the path had been cleared for Mary to be transformed from the “Mother of God” to a deity in the image of the Mother Goddess, Isis, who shared in the divinity of her son, Horus.

In her article on Mariology, Keri Mills posited that the issue driving the great Nestorian controversy was really the doctrine of Mary rather than the doctrine of Christ:

“Catholics claim that no serious question was raised about Mary’s sinlessness after the Council of Ephesus in AD 431 which declared Mary to be ‘God bearer, Mother of God’. What is not explained is the reason why no questions (according to the RCC) were raised after the council. It is clearly documented that Nestorius, bishop of Constantinople, was declared a heretic and exiled because he rejected the popular title given to Mary (Mother of God). The church would claim that Nestorius made it appear, in his emphasis on the reality of the humanity of Jesus, that Christ was two persons or ‘two sons’ the son of Mary and the son of God. Interestingly, the writings of Ignatius, a disciple of the apostle John and bishop of Antioch, declared a similar thought, ‘Mary is presented as Mother of Christ according to his human nature, as the heavenly Father is his Father according to his divine nature (To the Ephesians)’, with the same purpose to refute heretical thinking, and yet he is not declared a heretic. Nestorius was declared a heretic based on power politics and his denial of Mary as God-bearer, not on Christology. Nestorius was refuting heretical ideas that Christ was not flesh, only deity. In his autobiography, he insisted that he did not oppose the title ‘God-bearer’ because he denied the Godhead of Christ, but rather to distinguish that Jesus was a genuine human being born with a body and soul. He insisted that calling Mary ‘God-bearer, Mother of God’ was to declare that God could be born of a woman. Parents pre-exist their children, yet Mary a mortal woman could not pre-exist God; in fact the paradox remains clear to this day that Jesus the son of Mary pre-existed Mary. Yet with the reign of Constantine, the church had gained power, and so no serious questions would be raised outwardly, without the backing of the majority, once that power had been exercised on Nestorius.” (Mariology: 849)

Even the trappings of monasticism that found a home in Roman Catholicism originated in the asceticism that was prevalent in Egypt, dating back to Hermes Trismegestis. Hermes or Thoth, a demi-god from the pre-flood civilization of Atlantis, became the prototype of the ‘hermit’ monk. The Council of Nicea in 321 A.D. may have been another dialectical operation. There St. Athanasius (296-373 AD), as Bishop of Alexandria, valiantly combated the Arian heresy which challenged the divinity of Jesus Christ. However, Athanasius also used that council as an opportunity to incorporate in the canons of the Church the requirement of celibacy for Christian leaders. (Catholic Encyclopedia: 548) Following his victory over the heresiarch Arius and the Arians, Athanasius traveled throughout Europe promoting monasticism and asceticism. He is credited with introducing monasticism specifically to the Romans and Germans.

In the Gnostic theology of Athanasius, only ascetics were considered the Bride of Christ, a pernicious teaching which influenced many devout  Christians to seek Christ in monasteries and convents. Although the religious orders had the outward appearance of spiritual piety, they were often, however, fronts for occult as well as homosexual/lesbian activity. That asceticism, enforced celibacy and monastic life have borne evil fruit throughout the centuries is evident in the rampant sexual perversion of the Roman Catholic priesthood and hierarchy.

It was through the establishment of monasteries that the Merovingian Jews, whose forefathers were the Alexandrian Gnostics, began to infiltrate and mold the theology and practices of the Roman Catholic Church. Many of the popes were Merovingian monks who forced masses of European Jews to convert to Roman Catholicism., with the result that the Church incorporated traditions from both Judaism, the Talmud and the Kabbalah. (See: Mystery Babylon the Great: Catholic or Jewish?)  We believe it will be from the monastic movement that the False Prophet, a Merovingian, will rise to prominence and power as the Antichrist’s right hand man.

THE PRIEURÉ DE SION

In the thoroughly pagan milieu of Alexandria, an Egyptian priest and magus by the name of Ormesius founded the monastic Society of Ormus. The members of this society included the Therapeutae of Alexandria and the Essenes of Qumran—apostate Jews who had embraced the Neo-Platonist doctrine of the lost continent of Atlantis. Gnostics allege that Ormesius was a convert of St. Mark, however, such conversions are a common modus operandi of infiltrators with hidden agendas. As a false convert, Ormesius would synthesize Christianity with the paganism of Alexandria, Egypt and establish the monastic society which was the original “Order of the Rosy Cross”:

“According to Baron de Westerode, the founder of the Rosicrucians was one Ormesius, who had been converted by St. Mark, at Alexandria, in A.D. 46. He purified the Egyptian Rites, and reconciled them with Christianity, carrying his disciples with him, and founded the Society of ORMUS, or of the Light, each member wearing a red cross. To this society the Essenes and Therapeutae joined themselves, and conserved the Masonic Secrets.” (Antiquities of the Illuminati, Part 3: 636)

The Society of Ormus would eventually relocate to Italy and, in 1070 A.D., move to territory in France owned by Godfroi de Bouillon, the first Grand Master of the Prieuré de Sion. There Ormus changed its name to the “Ordre de Sion” and the monks were given a tract of land owned by one Bernard of Clairvaux.  St. Bernard, who was the founder of the Cistercian Order of monks, also wrote of the Rule of the Templars. According to Holy Blood, Holy Grail, the Society of Ormus, which became the Ordre de Sion, then became the Prieuré de Sion.

“The ‘Prieuré documents’ imply that…an abbey existed by 1100 and housed an order of the…name [Ordre de Sion] which may have been formed earlier… It is known that in 1070, twenty-nine years before the First Crusade, a specific band of monks from Calabria in southern Italy arrived in the vicinity of the Ardennes Forrest, part of Godfroi de Bouillon’s domains. According to Gérard de Sède this band of monks was led by an individual called Ursusa name the ‘Prieuré documents’ consistently associate with the Merovingian bloodline… [A]t Orval, not far from Stenay, where Dagobert II had been assassinated some five hundred years earlier…an abbey was established to house the monks… By 1108 they had mysteriously disappeared… Orval, by 1131, had become one of the fiefs owned by Saint Bernard…

“In 1188 the Ordre de Sion is…said to have modified its name, adopting the one which has allegedly obtained to the presentthe Prieuré de Sion. As a kind of subtitle it is said to have adopted the curious name ‘Ormus.’ This subtitle was supposedly used until 1306a year before the arrest of the French Templars. The device for ‘Ormus’…involves a kind of acrostic or anagram which combines a number of key words and symbols. Ours means ‘bear’ in FrenchUrsus in Latin, an echo, as subsequently became apparent, of Dagobert II and the Merovingian dynasty. Orme is French for ‘elm.’ Or, of course, is ‘gold.’ And the M that forms the frame enclosing the other letters is not only an M but also the astrological sign for Virgo—connoting, in the language of medieval iconography, Notre Dame…

“…mysterious Abbey of Orval…[is] where our research suggested the Prieuré de Sion may have had its inception.” (31:113,122)

The signature of the Prieuré de Sion incorporated the sign of Virgo [c] with the four letters ORUS, which stood for Horus, in the form of a cross:

“…consider the device of the Priory of SION, namely, the name Ormus, and its glyph. The glyph is as follows:

ORcUS.

[note, for older browsers: this is OR + Virgo Sign + US, the Virgo Sign in the standard font, “Wingdings”]

“What is this? Ormus, that is, Virgo and ORUS. What is ORUS? ORUS is a corrupted form of Horus, and is used in Crowley’s 5th Degree Ritual for the OTO. His Rose-Croix ritual includes an analysis of the Keyword, much like in the Golden Dawn Adeptus Minor Ceremony, only IAO stands not for ISIS, APOPHIS, and OSIRIS, but IACCHUS, ASI, and ORUS.” (937)

According to Holy Blood, Holy Grail, Ormus evolved into the Order of the Prieuré de Sion of the Rosy Cross: “One is intended to see in Ormus the origins of the so-called Rose-Croix, or Rosicrucians. And in 1188 the Prieuré de Sion is said to have adopted a second subtitle in addition to Ormus. It is said to have called itself L’Ordre de la Rose-Croix Veritas… Ormus…[was] the name allegedly adopted by the Prieuré de Sion between 1188 and 1307.” – 31:123,185

Charles Nodier, Grand Master of the Prieuré de Sion from 1801-1884, averred that this secret order presided over a global network of secret societies: “There are a great many secret societies in operation, Nodier declares. But there is one, he adds, that takes precedence over all others, that in fact presides over all others. According to Nodier this ‘supreme’ secret society is called the Philadelphes. At the same time, however, he speaks of ‘the oath which forbids me to make them known under their social name.’ Nevertheless there is a hint of Sion…” (31:152)

In 1099, the Merovingian Jews in collusion with Pope Urban II, also a Merovingian, launched the First Crusade. An article titled The Merovingian Infiltration of the Christian World Through Monasticism confirms what we have long suspected, that Urban was not the first Merovingian pope, but the 6th in a succession of French Merovingian popes beginning in 999 A.D.

“1088: Urban II, French Prior of Cluny (Reformed Benedictines) becomes the pope. Urban was of the ‘Eudes’ family, not only the name of the King of the Franks, Eudes, who ruled 888 to 898 and considered one of the antecedent kings of the Capetian House of France, but also the name of the Royal Capetian line of Burgundy, great grandson of Hugh Capet, Eudes I the RED of Burgundy who acceded 1079, NINE years before Urban (Eudes) became pope. And Eudes the Red acceded in that specific year because his brother, Hugh I of Burgundy, had abdicated to become the Prior of Cluny!  Now something is very amiss here ! Is this just coincidence? Both were sons of Henry of Burgundy who married Sibylle of Barcelona. Henry was son of Robert I of Burgundy, who was the son of Hugh Capet. Barcelona, home of their mother, was part of the Spanish March connected to Septimania and, here too, the Duke of Aquitaine in 1012 was Eudes of Aquitaine ! And Aquitaine and Septimania are extremely significant :

“It happens that Septimania (Languedoc) is exactly where the Jesus-Magdalene heresy flourished, and where there was a large population of Cathar Jews who were given independent status by Pepin, Carolingian King. Thence their own kings ruled as: ‘seed of the Royal House of David’, each acknowledged as ‘King of the Jews’, most famous of whom was Guillem de Gellone, the Prince of Orange. Confusing this issue, these kings also claimed to be of Merovingian descent ; but not confusing when one realizes that Jesus was of the House of David and Mary Magdalene was from the town Magdala, 4 miles from Tiberius, founded by Herod Antipas, who was an Edomite descendant of Esau with whom Benjaminites married. Additionally, Absolom, David’s son, who pulled a coup d’etat on his own father in an attempt to take his throne, had a rebel following who would have joined the Benjaminite cause. Absalom died when his long hair got caught in branches in the forest during the Coup. (2 Sam:18:9) And the Merovingians, first Dynasty of French kings, were the Long Haired Kings!!

“The details of the separate kingdom of Septimania were erased from history books; but the descendant bloodlines were apparently the ‘heretical Royal Bloodlines’ as : Dukes of Aquitaine, Dukes of Lorraine, Dukes of Guise; Counts of Barcelona, Counts of Toulouse, Counts of Auvergne; Counts of Razes. (HBHB, pp 368-371) And it was precisely a Duke of Aquitaine who founded Cluny! Thus, Septimania now becomes extremely important, for now Urban II, descendant of the Eudes of Septimania and Cluny Prior, is the pope who will call the first Crusades resulting in the crowning of a direct lineal descendant of Guillem de Gellone, named Godfroi de Bouillon, Duke of Lorraine, as King of Jerusalem! Aquitaine is so-named on maps of Second Century Roman Empire and comprised then, the whole area from Languedoc, South France, to Poitou and Anjou. Septimania was the area that was later known as the Languedoc.

The pretext for the First Crusade—recovery of the Temple treasures and sacred sites—concealed the real motive of the Merovingians, which was to rebuild the ancient Temple of Solomon. In Chapter XXX, “Knight Kadosh” of Morals and Dogma, Albert Pike wrote of the Crusader Knights of the Temple:

“In 1118, nine Knights Crusaders in the East, among whom were Geoffroi de Saint-Omer and Hugues de Payens, consecrated themselves to religion, and took an oath between the hands of the Patriarch of Constantinople, a See always secretly or openly hostile to that of Rome from the time of Photius. The avowed objective of the Templars was to protect the Christians who came to visit the Holy Places: their secret object was the re-building of the Temple of Solomon on the model prophesied by Ezekiel.

“This re-building, formally predicted by the Judaizing Mystics of the earlier ages, had become the secret dream of the Patriarchs of the Orient. The Temple of Solomon, re-built and consecrated to the Catholic worship would become, in effect, the Metropolis of the Universe; the East would prevail over the West, and the Patriarchs of Constantinople would possess themselves of the Papal power.

“The Templars, or Poor Fellow-Soldiery of the Holy House of the Temple intended to be rebuilt, took as their models, in the Bible, the Warrior-Masons of Zorobabel, who worked, holding the sword in one hand and the trowel in the other. Therefore it was that the Sword and the Trowell were the insignia of the Templars, who subsequently, as will be seen, concealed themselves under the name of Brethren Masons. [This name, Freres Macons in the French, adopted by way of secret reference to the Builders of the Second Temple, was corrupted in English into Free-Masons, as Pythagore de Crotone was into Peter Gower of Groton in England. Khairum or Khur-um, (a name mis-rendered intoHiram) from an artificer in brass and other metals, became the Chief Builder of the Haikal Kadosh, the Holy House, of the Temple,… and the words Bonai and Banaim yet appear in the Masonic Degrees, meaning Builder and Builders.]

“The trowel of the Templars is quadruple, and the triangular plates of it are arranged in the form of a cross, making the Kabalistic pantacle known by the name of the Cross of the East. The Knight of the East, and the Knight of the East and West, have in their titles secret allusions of whom they were at first the successors.”

A secondary objective of the Knights Templar may have been to deposit the Merovingian “Holy Grail” cache at Jerusalem. These artifacts will probably be “discovered” in the future as “proof” of Merovingian claims of their “divine” blood.  In The Second Messiah, authors Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas identify the Merovingian families which conspired with the Merovingian pope—truly a Jewish fifth column within the Catholic Church—to recapture the Holy Land:

“The picture that was emerging was of a group of European noble families, descended from the Jewish lines of David and Aaron, who had escaped from Jerusalem shortly before, or possible even just after, the fall of the Temple.  They had passed down the knowledge of the artifacts concealed within the Temple to a chosen son…of each family.  Some of the families involved were the Counts of Champagne, Lords of Gisors, Lords of Payen, Counts of Fontaine, Counts of Anjou, de Bouillon, St. Clairs of Roslin, Brienne, Joinville, Chaumont, St Clair de Gisor, St Clair de Neg and the Hapsburgs…

“By 1095, the members of the Rex Deus families group were almost certainly fully Christianised, yet each of them must have had at least one male member who held the traditional history of their high-born Jewish roots close to his heart. No doubt they saw themselves as ‘super-Christians’, descendants of the very first Church, and privy to the greatest secret this side of heaven. They were a silent elite — ‘the kings of God’.

“Indeed, the history books record that [Pope Urban II’s] leadership marked the papacy’s assumption of the leadership of Western Christendom…

“If the Rex Deus group did exist, it is easy to see how the First Crusade provided these families with a ‘God-given’ opportunity to return to their Holy Temple to recover the treasure that was their birthright – and it would be done at exactly the same time that the Jewish writer of the Gospel of John the Divine had predicted! The Rex Deus families were at the forefront of the First, and every Crusade. Medieval scholars have long wondered why it should be that the same families drove all of the Crusades for their entire duration, and now we had a possible answer.

“Once the Christian armies had secured Jerusalem, the non-Rex Deus leaders were quickly removed and the families infiltrated the Jerusalem monarchy and the Church, to ensure that they would not be blocked in the holy endeavor of the ‘Kings of God’ to regain what their ancestors had left for them…

“…in 1114…[the Rex Deus group] told Baldwin [King of Jerusalem] that they wanted to post a small contingent of knights in Jerusalem to carry out some exploratory digging under the pretext of being…guardians of the highways for pilgrims… Unfortunately, the king was not persuaded… In 1118, Baldwin I died at the age of sixty (presumably of natural causes) and his cousin was rapidly crowned King Baldwin II of Jerusalem. Within weeks, nine French knights were camped on the site of Herod’s stables… The world was told their mission was to save the Christian pilgrims from the evil Muslim bandits, but their true mission was to locate and rescue the scrolls and treasures of the Jerusalem Church.” (96:79-83)

In his book Behold a Pale Horse, William Cooper stated that the real treasure the Templars absconded with was not the Temple artifacts, but relics pertaining to Jesus Christ, including Hisbones! We wondered for some time how Cooper knew this.  Not only did William Cooper claim to know what the relics of Jesus are, but where they are hidden. Underlying Cooper’s belief in this heresy is his rejection of the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ:

“One of the greatest secrets of the ages is the true story of the Holy Grail, the robe of Jesus, the remains of the Cross of Crucifixion, and whether Jesus actually died or if he survived and produced a child. Many myths surround the Knights Templar concerning these relics, and most myths throughout history have at least some basis in fact. If my sources are correct, the Knights Templar survive today as a branch of the Illuminati and guard the relics, which are hidden in a location known only to them…

“According to members of the intelligence community, when the New World Order is solidified the relics will be taken out, will be united with the Spear of Destiny, and will, according to legend, give the world’s ruler absolute power. This may confirm beliefs passed down through the ages that describe the significance of these relics when united in the hands of one man. It may also explain Hitler’s desperate search for their hiding place during World War II. Again I must remind you that it makes not one iota of difference what you believe. If they believe, you will be affected.

“The Knights Templar were founded sometime during the 11th century in Jerusalem by the Prieuré de Sion for the express purpose of guarding the remaining relics of Jesus and to provide military protection for the religious travelers during their pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

“The Prieuré de Sion was a religious order founded upon Mount Sion in Jerusalem. The Order set for itself the goal of preserving and recording the bloodline of Jesus and the House of David. Through every means available to them, the Prieuré de Sion had found and retrieved the remaining relics. I am amazed at the authors of Holy Blood, Holy Grailand the information that they have unearthed. Most of all I am amazed at their inability to put the puzzle together. The treasure hidden in France is not the treasure of the Temple of Jerusalem. It is the Holy Grail itself, the robe of Jesus, the last remaining pieces of the Cross of Crucifixion, and, according to my sources, someone’s bones. I can tell you that the reality of the bones will shake the world to its very foundations if I have been told the truth. The relics are hidden in France. I know the location and so do the authors ofHoly Blood, Holy Grail, but they do not know that they know—or do they?” (Behold a Pale Horse51:75-6)

Behold a Pale HorseHoly Blood, Holy Grail and the multitude of Grail publications all claim that the future revelation of the treasure of Rennes le Chateau, the French village where the Prieuré de Sion deposited the Templars’ Grail cache, will be the undoing of Christianity.  The Prieuré obviously plans to produce, i.e. manufacture, relics which would disprove the divinity of Jesus Christ. A French website maintains that this is the famed secret of Rennes le Chateau:

“…that the treasure of Rennes is not material but that it contains the formal proof that the crucifixion did not take place and that Jesus was still alive in the year 45 (?!?!?). Source of this priest: another priest Anglican, Gun Alfred Leslie Lilley, died in 1940, which had contacts with the modernistic catholic movement (based at the beginning with St-Sulpice), like with Emile Hoffet.” (948)

Meanwhile, back in Europe, “The legendary origin of so many statuettes in the baggage trains of returning crusaders, especially when they happened to be Templars, [was] no guarantee of the orthodoxy of their cult. That many legends of the period connect the twelfth-century Black Virgins with an earlier miraculous origin dating from the Merovingian period raises potentially disquieting religio-political questions.” (272:13)

During medieval times, the Knights Templar were involved in the financing and otherwise lending support to the building of over 1,000 churches and cathedrals throughout Europe, many in honor of the Black Virgin. Following the dissolution of the Templars in 1307, the Prieuré de Sion carried on quietly mainstreaming the Black Virgin, particularly in France. Laurence Gardner wrote inBloodline of the Holy Grail of the astrological configuration of the French cathedrals: “In accordance with the Hermetic principle of ‘As above, so below’, the combined ground-plan of the Notre Dame cathedrals replicates the Virgo constellation… {See The Mysteries of Chartres Cathedral for this configuration.} The ‘Notre Dame’ cathedrals…were mainly the work of the ‘Children of Solomon’—a guild of masons instructed by St. Bernard’s Cistercian Order.” (29:264, 66)

“The nine Knights were sent out by Bernard the Cistercian; gothic was born at Citeaux. The whole gothic formula derives from the Cistercians and the ‘Conipagnons des Devoirs’—heirs of the builders of gothic cathedrals—make no mystery that they derive their characteristic ‘feature’, their descriptive geometry, indispensable for the erection of gothic monuments, from the Cistercian Order.
“1020. This was a notable epoch in Romanesque architecture; the epoch during which Christianity decked itself with ‘a display of white churches’; for this was the time when after a labour lasting five centuries the Benedictine abbeys succeeded in constituting a corps, a lay brotherhood of builders, affiliated to the Order, to which they could appeal for protection if necessary.
“After the abbeys, where they trained their workmen, the Benedictines were able to put lay builders at the disposal of the secular church, often under the direction of monastic master-craftsmen…who came to build and teach in Normandy…

“…beneath the aisles and choir of [Chartres Cathedral] called, wrongly, the crypt; a more exact designation would be ‘the lower church’. There is a tradition that the builders’ guilds, at least ‘Children of Solomon’, held ceremonies of initiation in this crypt.” (Mysteries of Chartres Cathedral926)

The Black Virgin was, in reality, Virgo, the Great Mother Goddess known to the Egyptians as Isis, who was christened in Alexandria as Mary Magdalene. According to The Cult of the Black Virgin, the full name of the Prieuré is the Order of the Prieuré Notre Dame de Sion. Former Grand Master of the Prieuré, Pierre Plantard de Saint Clair, has identified Notre Dame as Our Lady of the Light, i.e. Lucifer, the Light-Bearer.

“There exists in France an organization that has been in continuous existence since the twelfth century, that has some features both of an order of chivalry and of a religious order, though it is not quite either; a secret society which does not spurn the right sort of publicity; a political grouping with specific aims that is also interested in ancient esoteric wisdom and hidden mysteries. Its full name is the Order of the Prieuré Notre Dame de Sion, and its chief aim seems always to have been the restoration of the Merovingian blood-line to the throne. It is also passionately concerned with the cult of the Black Virgin and has a remarkable record of equal rights for women…

“The Grand Master of the Prieuré 1981-4, Pierre Plantard, is reported as saying that the Sicambrians, ancestors of the Frankish Merovingians, worshipped Cybele as Diana of the Nine Fires, or as Arduina, the eponymous goddess of the Ardennes. The huge idol to Diana/Arduina which once towered over Carignan, in north-east France, between the Black Virgin sites of Orval, Avioth and Mezièrres, near to Stenay, where the Merovingian king and saint, Dagobert II, was murdered in 679, points circumstantially to a link between the two cults. In this connection Plantard mentions that one of the most important acts of Dagobert, when he acceded to the throne after his Irish exile, was to continue the ancient tradition of Gaul, the worship of the Black Virgin. The Black Virgin, he insists, is Isis and her name is Notre-Dame de Lumière.” (Cult of the Black Virgin272:14)

As stated by Ean Begg, the raison d’être of the Prieuré de Sion is the restoration of the Merovingian dynasty as the royalty of Europe and eventually to a position of world supremacy.  From this bloodline—whose blasphemous claims of divinity refer to intermarriage between the pre-flood demons and the daughters of men—issued a truly Satanic dynasty of kings. As previously stated, the Merovingians boast that the founder of their dynasty, King Meroveus, a worshiper of the virgin goddess Diana of the Nine Fires, was sired by a ‘beast of the sea’—Neptune, god of the sea and founder of Atlantis. According to the author of Bloodline of the Holy Grail:

“Despite the carefully listed genealogies of his time, the heritage of Meroveus was strangely obscured in the monastic annals. Although the rightful son of Clodion, he was nonetheless said by the historian Priscus to have been sired by an arcane sea creature, the Bistea Neptunis… The Sicambrian Franks, from whose female line the Merovingians emerged were associated with Grecian Arcadia before migrating to the Rhineland. As we have seen, they called themselves the Newmage — ‘People of the New Covenant’, just as the Essenes of Qumran had once been known. It was the Arcadian legacy that was responsible for the mysterious sea beast—the Bistea Neptunis— as symbolically defined in the Merovingian ancestry. The relevant sea-lord was King Pallas, a god of old Arcadia… The immortal sea-lord was said to be ‘ever-incarnate in a dynasty of ancient kings’ whose symbol was a fish – as was the traditional symbol of Jesus.” – (29:166,175)

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. – Rev. 13:1

Not only was Meroveus sired by the sea beast, Neptune, the Merovingian race was sired by the Nephilim—that demonically-bred race of giants which God destroyed in the Flood. That the Merovingian bloodline is associated with the subterranean race that inhabits earth’s center (Hell) is confirmed by Dagobert’s Revenge, where a review is posted of a book by Kenneth Grant, who was appointed by Aleister ‘The Beast’ Crowley to succeed him as Grand Master of the Ordo Templi Orientis:

“The Nephilim were banished to the center of the earth for disobeying God by mating with the daughters of men and teaching them the ‘forbidden’ arts. In this publication the Nephilim have been identified as the Fathers of the Merovingians…

“…the Merovingian race was sired by a water beast known as the Quinotaur. This Quinotaur took the form of a sea-bull. Crowley’s personal seal was of a sea goat. Grant, writing of Crowley’s Seal of the Beast, says: ‘The beast is the sea-goat or amphibious monster identical with Cthulhu, the Quinotaure or Bull of the Deep.’ Grant writes as a footnote; ‘The waters under the earth; home of the ‘ancestors’ or subconscious atavisms of the race.’ Is this a reference to the race of the Grail?.” (571)

It was originally from Cain, whose descendants intermarried with the Nephilim, that the Grail race descended.  Enki, the twin brother of Enlil, is merely an anagram of Cain, whose twin was Abel according to occult belief.

“The mortal world spreads east and west and the land of le invisibles lies above and below it in the vertical dimensions of height and depths, north and south, Horus and Set.’ This ties in with the Book of Enoch and the Hosts above and the fallen, banished Nephilim below. This also reminds us of the twins or brother gods in Sumeria called Enki and Enlil. Enki, the infernal of the two, represents Set and Enlil represents Horus (although in this context Enlil would also be Osiris.) In ancient mythologies names and stories can be switched and one god can also be an attribute of another. It’s best to keep this in mind when studying this type of material. Set kills Osiris as Enki kills Enlil. As it has been shown in another article of this publication, Enki is associated with Cain, and Cain was a very bad boy. Enki was an infernal god that has been identified, in this publication, as siring the Merovingian race.

“…Enki has been associated with Set…who is also Satan…

“…Writing of the Great Old Ones or Elder Gods from Lovecraftian lore, Grant says, ‘The letter M, the key vibration of the plane of the Elder Gods, is represented mythologically as the sea-goat, Makaru or as the crocodile, the beast of the waters.’ Couldn’t Makaru be a form of Merovee who spawned the Merovingians, and was sired himself from a sea-bull? Tracy Twyman has already written of the connections between Lovecraft’s Necronomicon Mythos and the Merovingians in her article Dead But Dreaming: The Great Old Ones of Lovecraftian Legend Reinterpreted as Sumerian/Atlantean Kings…”  (571)

The Eye Over the Throne was a hieroglyph used in Egypt and Sumeria to denote the world monarchy of the Atlantean Gods. Since here it is called ‘Kingu’, obviously he was one of these ‘kings’, perhaps related etymologically to ‘Cain‘, whose name is the root from which the word ‘king’ comes, and who is said to be one of the eldest ancestors of the Grail family.” (922)

According to Blavatsky, after the Flood it was Noah’s son, Ham, and his descendants, who preserved and carried on the occult traditions of Cain, including intermarriage with the gods:

“The history or ‘fables’ about the mysterious Telchines—fables echoing each and all the archaic events of our esoteric teachings—furnish us with a key to the origin of Cainsgenealogy (Genesis, ch. iii.); they give the reason why the Roman Catholic Church identifies ‘the accursed blood’ of Cain and Ham with Sorcery, and makes it responsible for the Deluge. Were not the Telchines—it is argued—the mysterious ironworkers of Rhodes; they who were the first to raise statues to the gods, furnish them with weapons, and men with magic arts? And is it not they who were destroyed by a deluge at the command of Zeus, as the Cainites were by that of Jehovah?” (897:391)

Dagobert’s Revenge recommends Tracy Twyman’s “Dead But Dreaming: The Great Old Ones of Lovecraftian Legend Reinterpreted as Sumerian/Atlantean Kings” for information about the Atlantean gods, the Nephilim, who will rise again when the stars are in the right position. According to that informative article, the Nephilim preserved their occult traditions within the oath-bound secret societies which are now programming the younger generation to accept the Grail mythology as true.

The Secret Doctrine given to the elite castes of mankind by the Nephilim or the ‘Annunaki’, the gods of ancient Sumeria and Atlantis, has been passed down through the ages, not only to the Masons, Templars, Rosicrucians, and other fraternal orders which perpetuate the tradition, but also to the teenage geeks and D & D ‘gamers’ of today via the [H.P.] Lovecraft/Necronomicon lore, which has given birth to a cornucopia of role-playing and computer games, in much the same way that Monty Python and the Society for Creative Anachronism have kept alive the Grail myth for these same teenagers.” (922)

Twyman quotes The Necronomian“a volume written in Damascus in the Eighth Century, A.D., by a person called the ‘Mad Arab’, Abdul Alhazred… This book, according to the mythos, contains the formulae for evoking incredible things into visible appearance, beings and monsters which dwell in the Abyss, and Outer Space, of the human psyche.” The Necronomicon, or “Book From the Dead” consists of messages from the ancient gods of Lemuria and Atlantis, who foretell that, when the stars are rightly positioned in the heavens, will be the opportune time for performing blood rituals to effect the resurrection of these ‘sleeping’ gods and their human offspring:

“‘There had been eons when other things ruled on the Earth, and they had had great cities. Remains of them, he said the deathless Chinaman had told him, were still to be found as Cyclopean stones on islands in the Pacific. They all died vast epochs of time before man came, but there were arts which could revive them when the stars had come round again to the right positions in the cycle of eternity. They had indeed come themselves from the stars, and brought their images with them.’

“Lovecraft, like Enoch, and like ancient man himself, conceived of the ancient Atlantean gods or Nephilim as possessing supernatural power, and, like Enoch, says that this power comes from the stars, that these beings in fact had come from the stars themselves, and seemed to be metaphysically affected by the movement of the stars, being able to resurrect from the dead only when the stars were in a certain position.

“Likewise, the Atlantean god-kings purposely associated themselves with the stars and the planets, taking on the personifications of planets and constellations, each of which had a particular ‘energy’ or ‘plain of existence’ associated with it. This energy could be further manipulated by the prayers and rituals of the cult members who are loyal to the Great Old Ones, and wish to see their kingdom rise again, in much the same way that Masons, Rosicrucians and other occultists today perform rituals in hope of bringing about the ‘Great Work’ called the ‘New World Order’, a new Golden Age just like the one that covered the Antediluvian world when the Atlantean god-kings (whom they revere) ruled over the Earth directly. The Eye in the Pyramid on our dollar bill, which represents the New World Order, is clearly a symbol of this newly-risen kingdom of Atlantis, ‘watched over’ (as in ‘the Watchers’) by the All-Seeing Eye, which could just as easily be the eye of Dagon, or Leviathan, or Cthulhu. It even looks reptilian, like it belongs on the face of a dragon.
“The rise of R’lyeh, the New World Order, the New Atlantis, the New Jerusalem, the Golden Age, and even the Apocalypse – these are all terms for the same resurrection of the ancient global kingdom of the gods. Such a resurrection is also described in Aleister Crowley’s The Book of the Law when he writes about the coming ‘Age of Horus’ and the return of the rule of the gods, as well as their offspring, the human ‘kings’.”  (922)

Alice Bailey associated the Grail bloodline with the sign of Virgo:Virgo itself is a cup-shaped constellation…; in its highest meaning the Holy Grail.”  Along with descent from immortal sea beasts, the Prieuré de Sion also alleges to have “incontrovertible proof” of Merovingian descent from Jesus Christ and His continuing bloodline, and has been working to reestablish the power of the Merovingian dynasty, this time over a world kingdom.

However, even Baigent, Leigh and Lincoln have admitted, “while the Merovingian royal blood was credited with a sacred, miraculous, and divine nature, it was not explicitly stated anywhere that this blood was in fact Jesus.” Claims of direct descent from Jesus—who is at best another Jesus, Yeshu, an Essene adept who saves by giving gnosis rather than shedding his blood—and Mary Magdalene (the holy grail or womb which bore this other Jesus’ children) are merely attempts to Christianize the demonic bloodline which will place Lucifer on the throne of this world.

“Writers examining the lives of Christ and Mary Magdalen in search of clues to the Grail mystery have been left with more questions than answers. And those going over the Bible with a fine-toothed comb have come up equally empty-handed. Undoubtedly the reason for this is due to the fact that the Holy Grail has virtually nothing to do with Christianity per se. Christ may have been a key figure in a long line of servants of the Grail, but its legacy is not to be found within the context of the religion founded in his name. Not a single one of the crucial clues relating to the Grail mystery can be satisfactorily explained in terms of orthodox Christianity. Indeed, it would appear that the Grail story was Christianized precisely to conceal a legacy that was wholly unchristian. It is a legacy that goes back to Ia, and the mysterious race of which he was a descendant…

“The first king of Sumeria was also the first god of Sumeria. He was a deified king named IA, and he was known as the Lord of the Flood, or Lord of the Deep Waters. The name IA served as the basis of god-names from many other cultures, including (but not limited to) Jah, Ihah, Yahweh, Jove, Jehovah, Allah, Janus, Ianus, Uranus, Ouranos, and… Oannes.” (Dagobert’s Revenge)

‘THE MOTHER PRECEDES THE SON’

…the constellation Virgo, which in fact rises just before the star Arcturus. (Virgo)

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. – Rev. 12:1,2

“Thus, in conclusion, we greet Mary as the great sign in the heavens which precedes the coming of her Son, because the mother always precedes the son. We greet her as the one who at Fatima wanted to bring peace to the world if we fulfilled the demands of her maternal heart… We greet her as the Victor in all the battles of God, and as the Mother of the Church who will bring the Good Friday of the Church to an end and give it a new Easter.” – Bishop Rudolph Graber, Fatima Advancing Rapidly Towards Final Fulfillment (929)

A New Easter? Of course. The feast of the Mother Goddess, Ishtar.

During the Renaissance, that medieval period when the occult traditions flooded Europe from the Mideast, Chartres Cathedral was built on a sacred site in France where ancient Druids worshipped the Mother Goddess. A World Heritage Site famous for its Gothic architectureand, to the initiated, its thoroughly pagan symbolismChartres Cathedral is known to occultists as the ‘Golden Book’ that reinstated the philosophy of classical Greece in the mainstream of Christian Europe. The cathedral expresses through ‘sacred geometry’ and astrological symbolism the Gnostic belief that “Man can compass his salvation by means of knowledge”, referring to gnosis. Within its massive structure was housed a mystery school which operated as a theological academy for over two centuries. In the underground crypt of the cathedral, initiates worshipped a replica of a Druidic statue known as the ‘Virgini Pariturae’ or ‘the virgin about to give birth’. The Templar Chronicles calls the Virgini Pariturae “the Virgo who must give birth”.

The statue in the underground chapel was also called Our Lady Under the Earth because the crypt, where initiations took place, was believed to be connected to telluric powers, i.e. the underworld. On the west front of Chartres Cathedral is featured in the tympanum of the right portalthe Gate of Birtha statue identical to the Virgini Pariturae in the underground chamber. The exterior icon was and still is venerated by the profane masses of Catholics as Mary, the ‘Mother of God’. Exoterically the white virgin on the west facade is the Blessed Virgin Mary who gave birth two thousand years ago; but esoterically, she is the black virgin who was still pregnant with child.

“The Druid’s love of inner journeys and their visions inspired their prophesies about the woman that would bring a saviour into the world. This pregnant woman is the black madonna we often find in medieval shrines throughout  Europe. If the white virgin is the one who has already given birth, the black virgin is the pregnant woman of the druid’s vision.” (931)

The photos below show ‘Mary’ in a position identical to the other Black Virgins we have seen above—enthroned and with a child on her lap, or rather between her thighs!!  The Gemini figures, representing twins, are difficult to recognize; see the left arch on a level with the twelve apostles.

The occult symbolism of this most famous of the medieval cathedrals is discussed in the Masonic book, Rosslyn: Guardian of the Secrets of the Holy Grail. According to authors Tim Wallace-Murphy and Marilyn Hopkins, the seven mystical cathedrals of Europe were deliberately founded on Druidic sites dedicated to planetary oracles. There is a prophecy that, when the planets align in the same configuration as the cathedrals, the time of transition into the New Age will have arrived. The sacred site upon which Chartres Cathedral was erected was dedicated by the Druids to the Sun.

“The Druids, like most initiatory tribal cultures, woshipped the principle of the Eternal Feminine as the source of all fertility. Julius Caesar describes, in de Bello Gallico, the veneration accorded to a fire-blackened, female figurine which was worshipped at a Druidic sacred grotto at Carnutum, now the modern city of Chartres…a fertility symbol he called Virgini Pariturae, the virgin about to give birth… It was at Chartres that the Church adopted the veneration of the fire-blackened, Druidic figurine Virgini Pariturae in the guise of the Black Madonna. A medieval replica of the Druidic figure is found in the crypt, which the official guide states categorically was used as an initiation chamber. ” (266:49,163)

The Virgin portrayed in the west facade of Chartres Cathedral is called the ‘Virgini Pariturae’, which means “the virgin about to give birth”. This statue does not represent Mary or the Biblical concept of womanhood, but the archetypal goddesses of fertility and the ‘feminine principle’. Since Chartres was dedicated to the Sun-God, the child of the sculpture is Horus, not Jesus Christ. The following excerpt from Rosslyn reveals how Gnostic occultism engulfed Western Christendom through the occult infiltration of the Roman Church.

“The revelations of the ancient mysteries brought about a deep insight into the laws of all natural phenomena, revealing the very unity in nature which is the mainspring of creation, and the importance of the principle of the eternal feminine. To commemorate this heretical and pagan concept, they carved a replica of the Druidic statue ‘Virgini Pariturae’, the virgin about to give birth, which had been a focus of worship at Chartres in pre-Christian times. To avoid persecution and to enable this powerful symbol to exert its influence the statue was carved in the guise of Mary the Mother of God with the infant Jesus seated on her lap. This symbolic representation of fertility and the archetypal feminine rests in the crypt of Chartres to this day. It is known as Notre-Dame de Sous-Terre—Our Lady Under the Earth. A replica of this figurine was then carved in the place of  honour above the main portal of the cathedral. After many years of theological dispute with the Orthodox Church in the East, Roman Catholicism had at long last stumbled across the perfect answer to the problems posed by the ambiguities inherent in the title ‘Mother of God’. In emphasizing Mary’s role, the Church was fulfilling a deep and long-felt need among its adherents by importing the pagan principle of the eternal feminine into the previously male-dominated and patriarchal realm of the Holy Trinity. Early Christians had taken up the theology of St. Paul which described Jesus as the ‘Second Adam’. They then fell into the theological trap by calling Mary the ‘Second Eve’, so reviving the old pagan concept of the divine son/spouse relationship as found in the Ishtar and Tammuz cult of ancient Babylonia and in the worship of Isis and Osiris in Pharaonic Egypt. This form of veneration also incorporated the concept of Sophia the goddess of Wisdom. The Church attempted to exert control over this Marian cult in its traditional manner by taking over pre-Christian forms of worship and sacred sites dedicated to various goddesses, renaming them in honour of the Holy Virgin. The symbolism, prayers and litanies associated with Demeter, Cybele, Ishtar and Isis were adopted and given a Christian veneer. (266:87-89)

Wallace-Murphy and Ms. Hopkins credit the Merovingian infiltrators for the stunning success of Mariolotry in Roman Catholicism: “It is ironic that Mariolotry, one of the major and most pervasive aspects of modern Catholicism, should have been further strengthened by the spiritual understanding of hidden initiates in the Middle Ages.” (266:89)

The pagan principle of the eternal feminine asserts that the Mother Goddess ruled over the first age of earth, corresponding to Lemuria, which supposedly achieved the highest level of civilization ever known to man. It is the same Gnostic principle which Bishop Graber and the present Pope fundamentally espouse, viz., that the divine feminine, masquerading as Mary, chronologically preceded and therefore gave divine life to her Son. As previously stated, one significant outcome of the Nestorian heresy was to give priority to the Mother Goddess, the pagan feminine archetype, over her Son. There are, however, esoteric connotations in Bishop Graber’s statement, which only the initiated fully understand.

“…we greet Mary as the great sign in the heavens which precedes the coming of her Son…”

Bishop Graber’s prediction is generally construed as an apparition of Mary, the Mother of God. Pope John Paul II is expecting a manifestation of Mary similar to the ‘Miracle of the Sun’ at Fatima, Portugal on October 13, 1917. On this occasion, the sun appearing as “a solar disc…spun upon itself in a mad whirl…and whirling wildly, seemed all at once to loosen itself from the firmament and, blood red, advance threateningly upon the earth as if to crush us with its huge and fiery weight.” (938Catholics believe that a recurrence of this miracle would vindicate the Catholic Church as the ‘one true Church’.

Although Roman Catholics perceive this apparition as a visitation of Mary, the mother of Jesus, New Agers recognize the many occult phenomena which attended the solar event at Fatima. According to a published eye-witness account of the Fatima apparition, the sun took on the appearance of a solar disk, an ancient occult symbol of the sun. (See solar disk symbol and explanation.) On October 13, 1917, the sun would have risen in the sign of Virgo; also the Moon was in Virgo. Bishop Graber has predicted that a sign will precede the coming of Christ.  And not just a sign, but a great sign!  Was the Bishop referring to Virgo, the Great Mother Goddess?

On Friday, October 13 in the year 1307 A.D., the Knights Templars were arrested by King Philip IV of France in collusion with Pope Clement V. Might the Fatima vision in 1917 have been a sign of the coming vengeance determined upon Rome by the Templars?  Bishop Graber, whose associations include Knight of Malta, Peter Beyerhaus, may be sending an esoteric message thatVirgo will be the sign in the heavens which will precede the coming of Horus, the pagan messiah who will avenge the Knights Templars by destroying the Roman Catholic Church.

Should another Fatima-type apparition occur in the sign of Virgo, perhaps at Medjugorje, such an event would hardly vindicate Roman Catholicism as the ‘one true Church.’ To the contrary, another such apparition displaying overtly occult phenomena would probably provide the death warrant needed to overthrow this Harlot Church which has, in recent times, scandalized the world with reports of homosexuality and pedophilia in its priesthood.

Since few are wise to the Merovingian (Jewish) infiltration and takeover of the Roman Catholic Church or that celibacy, homosexuality and pederasty are sacred rites of the Merovingians, and given that the secret societies, which are under the oversight of the Prieuré de Sion, control the news media which has sensationalized these scandals, and considering the effectiveness of this ingenious and carefully executed plan, we submit that the mighty fall of this citadel of Christendom is a fait accompli.

…and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns… And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. – Revelation 17:16

The Mormons

The Utah Lighthouse Ministry, P O Box 1884, Salt Lake City, UT 84110 http://www.utlm.org/ has excellent information on the Mormons and allegations of ritual abuse.

In “Satanic Ritual Abuse and Mormonism” (Tanners), 60 victims in the Mormon church discuss seeing or participating in alleged ritual abuse activities (this number could possibly include 800 total participants, the number of people in each survivors’ story added together).

The stories of Betty Rhoton and Merradyth McCallister describe alleged ritual abuse in the Mormon church, the Mormon church may have attempted to cover up McCallister’s story, and ex-communicated her from the church. Their stories include alleged torture, ritual abuse, and mind control. McCallister also had relatives in the Masons and Eastern Star. For more information, see S.M.A.R.T. Issue #6 http://ritualabuse.us/2008/10/issue-6-january-1996/

The following article (written by S.M.A.R.T.) is compiled from information and quotes from the journal article “Deviant Scriptualism and Ritual Satanic Abuse Part Two: Possible Masonic, Mormon, Magick, and Pagan Influences,”by professor Stephen A. Kent, Department of Sociology, University of Alberta, Edmonton (Canada). His article was originally published by Religion (1993) 23, 355-367, c 1993 Academic press Limited. At the end of this article, further information about the author and journal will follow this article.

Warning: this article contains descriptions of rituals, please read with caution.

“…This study compares portions of people’s accounts (using interviews and diaries from several alleged survivors), with doctrinal precedents for satanic ritual souse in deviant interpretations of Masonic, Mormon, Magick and Pagan traditions… Just as parts of the Bible may provide direct inspiration or justification for satanic worshipers, so too may some of these same parts provide additional sanctification of satanic worship through aberrant Freemasonry.” (Page 355)

“…. at least five survivors from allegedly three separate groups have indicated that male ritual abusers whom they remember were also Masons” (S.M.A.R.T. note: other studies have shown incidences of Masons allegedly ritually abusing children as high as 33 percent of the total number of reported cases of ritual abuse, see S.M.A.R.T. Issue #1http://ritualabuse.us/2008/10/issue-1-march-1995/ ).”One person specifically recalls a satanic catechism session that seemingly took place in a Masonic lodge.” (Page 355)

The article goes on to discuss the word “Jahbulon,” which is used in the 13th and 17th degrees of the Scottish rite. Masons agree this word is compounded of the names of three deities, the middle word Ba’al, and the original Masons that devised the word in the 1830’s knew the word Ba’al ‘was the devil’. “…with this mythological interpretation now in place, one easily could see how deviant Freemasons could either sanctify practices involving child-sacrifice to Ba’al or Molech or perhaps could be inspired to engage in them.” (Page 356)

Freemasonry believes that King Solomon directed the Masons in the construction of their temple. In the Biblical passage 1 Kings 11: 4-8, King Solomon “turned to the worship of Ashtoreth and Molech when he reached old age.” (Page 356) In the Bible, these gods are seen as evil.

“If, however, Masonic deviants wanted to find an allusion to Satan in their rituals, then they would be able to do so in the reference made in the third degree ritual to ‘that bright morning star’ which, biblically, was “Lucifer, son of the morning.’ (Isaiah 14:12) (page 356)

“…Masons frequently are willing to rent their lodges to appropriate individuals or organizations, and few if any questions would he asked about a fellow ‘brother’ who used the facilities (along with a few ëassociates’) from time to tine. Satanic rituals could occur in Masonic lodges (as at least some survivors suggest in their stories) without respectable members knowing anything about them.” (Page 357)

“The Masonic critic, Martin Short, observed that “(t)he works of Albert Pike… and Aleister Crowley show that men preoccupied with paganism, the devil, and the occult are attracted to Masonry, if only (as in Crowley’s case) on the way to somewhere else.” (Page 357) Kent’s article provides support for charges that Crowley was a Satanist, including his misogyny, his belief in sexual magick, his use of vaginal fluids, “…he provided instructions about worshipping a god of War and Vengeance, Ra-Hoor-Khuit … (King, 1977, p.135). He indicated that (t)he best blood (for use in worship) is of the noon, monthly; then the fresh blood of a child…. Crowley recorded that devotees were to “(s)acrifice cattle big and little; after a child’ (Crowley, 1972 p. 311)” (page 357). An evil spirit named Mercury informed Crowley and his magickal partner, Victor Neuberg, “‘that the supreme act of sexual magic involved the rape, ritual murder, and dissection into nine pieces of the body of a young girl. The resulting chunks of flesh were to be offered as sacrifices to the immortal gods’” (King, 1977, p. 85) (page 358)

Louise (a pseudonym), whose father was a Mason, remembers at age 3, “being sexually assaulted by a man in a crimson robe that her father brought to her. She also recalls an incident where she was placed on top of a white set of three steps . . . and sexually assaulted by numerous men. She also recalls seeing a young girl sacrificed and dismembered next to her on a table. Furthermore, she spoke about another incident in which thirteen men each placed an object into her vagina and caught the resultant blood and additional discharges in a container (Louise, 1992)” (page 357) Kent claims that Crowley’s rituals may provide an explanation for this.

Kent’s article also shows possible connections between deviant Mormonism and Satanism. (S.M.A.R.T. note: Several Mormon rituals were “borrowed” from Masonic rituals.) “The strongest (but not definitive) evidence that satanic rituals are being conducted in the context of deviant Mormonism appears in an internal memo about ‘ritualistic child abuse’ written by a Mormon bishop…. Bishop Glenn L. Pace …. indicated that he had “met with sixty victims. That number could be twice or three times as many if I did not discipline myself to only one meeting per week… All sixty individuals are members of the church. Forty-five victims allege witnessing and/or participating in human sacrifice. The majority were abused by relatives, often their parents.” (Pace, 1990 p. 1, reprinted in Utah Lighthouse Ministry, 1991 p.3) . . . The alleged perpetrators were Mormons, often ones in prominent church positions.” (Page 358) These included Young Women and Young Men leaders and members of the Tabernacle Choir.

“Many sections of standard Mormon scriptures recount incidences of individuals or groups receiving and using esoteric teachings reportedly from Satan in order to further their worldly power and domain…. In . . . the ‘Moses’ section of “Pearl of Great Price,” Cain receives secret, world-empowering teachings from Satan.” (Page 359) Some of these ‘teachings’ involve murder as a way of achieving worldly gain.

He discusses the ’secret combinations’ which supposedly help users gain worldly power. He cites the Gadianton robbers in the “Book of Mormon” (Helaman 6:23) as an example. “Thus, standard Mormon scriptures describe a group of people who had secret teachings from Satan that included requirements of ’secret murder’. They believed that these secrets gave them worldly power, and they passed along this esoteric knowledge to their children. Although these passages do not describe child sacrifice, other passages in Mormon scriptures do.” (Page 360) Examples cited are “Pearl of Great Price’s” Abraham 1:7 and “Book of Mormon” 4:14, 4:15 and 2:3 (for greater powers).

Deviant Mormons also might use as a source of alleged abuse the image of Satan teaching doctrines to Adam and Eve, while Satan claims he is ‘God of this world’ (Temple Ceremony in Sackett, 1982, p. 33) (page 360)

“According to Mormon theology, spirits need bodies to inhabit in order to develop to perfection, so that the fall of Adam and Eve… was a ‘good’ development…” (page 361) He cites “Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 2: 22-25 as a source.

“Easily deviant Mormons could attempt at face value Lucifer’s claim that he is the ‘God of this world” and devise an altered Temple Ceremony to venerate him (as the accounts that both Pace and I have heard suggested has happened)” (page 362)

The article concludes with a section on Egyptian and Pagan influences, followed by a final section on the reality of the occurrence of ritual abuse and its possible connection to spiritual deviance. No specific conclusions are drawn, but sources such as the False Memory Syndrome Foundation, Jones, 1991 and Loftus and Ketchamp, p. 1991 are mentioned as possible explanations for ritual abuse memories not occurring and/or being “contaminated.” “While I concede the point to skeptics that alleged victims might use the sane passages that I identified to fabricate or otherwise construct false memories, I remain unconvinced that many of the people with whom I have worked had sufficient scriptural exposure to have done so…. It is entirely possible that intergenerational Satanists do exist . . . we cannot know what (if any) relationship exist between actual perpetrators’ satanic and the religious justifications that exist for them… (assuming, of course, that they are real).” (Page 364)

Other articles available by Stephen Kent are “Deviant Scripturalism and Ritual Satanic Abuse – Part One: Possible Judeo Christian Influences and Diabolic Debates; A Reply to David Frankfurter and J.S. Lafontaine.” The second article is a follow-up and answer to criticisms of his Deviant Scripturalism articles.

Mormon Article
The next article shows the possible connections between Mormonism and Satanic Ritual Abuse. Most of the information for this article was published by the Utah Lighthouse Ministry, a group that publishes newsletters and books exposing the Mormons and their practices.

Warning: Rituals are described in detail, read with caution.

Please note: all unproven allegations are alleged.

The following information is taken from “Evolution of the Mormon Temple Ceremony 1842 – 1990″ by Jerald and Sandra Tanner.

From pages 143-151 (appendix C), the Tanners show that Joseph Smith was originally a Mason. Because the Mormons made “small innovations” in the rituals, they were no longer allowed to have a Masonic lodge.

“There can be no question that the “Five points of Fellowship” were derived from Freemasonry.” (Page 29) Mormons in Utah were not allowed to join the Masons because “Joseph Smith stole part of the Masonic ritual and included it in his temple ceremony.” (Page 144). The book also shows similarities between the Mormon “The First Token of Aaronic Priesthood” and the Masonic oath in the First Degree, and “The Second Token of the Aaronic Priesthood” and the Masonic Second degree. Other similarities are shown between other grips, vows, signs, use of aprons, anointing ceremonies, etc. “Other parallels … could be shown, but these should be sufficient to convince the reader that Joseph Smith borrowed from the Masons when he established the endowment ceremony.” (Page 148)

The following information comes from “Satanic Ritual Abuse and Mormonism” by Jerald and Sandra Tanner. In the book the Tanners discuss a secret memo from the church written on July 19, 1990 by Bishop Glenn L. Pace to the “Strengthening Church Members Committee” on the subject of Ritualistic Child Abuse. The memo is found on pages 7 – 18. Here are some excerpts from the memo.

“I have met with Sixty victims. That number could be twice or three times as many if I did not discipline myself to only one meeting per week… All sixty individuals are members of the church. Forty-five victims allege witnessing or participating in human sacrifice. The majority were abused by relatives, often their parents . . . One individual has memories of participating in rituals as a full-time missionary… Children are put in a situation where they believe they are going to die–such as being buried alive or being placed in a plastic bag and immersed in . . . the abusers tells the child to pray to Jesus . . . and nothing happens . . . then she is rescued… (by) a representative of … they remember robes and candles… seeing other …babies …children are baptized by blood. They have been brainwashed with drugs, hypnosis, and other means to become suicidal as soon as they start to tell their secrets. They have been threatened… that if they don’t do what they are told their brother or sister… (or) parents will die… They have told me the positions in the Church of members who are perpetrators… Young Women leaders, Young Men leaders, bishops, a patriarch, a stake president, temple workers and members of the Tabernacle Choir… Assuming each one comes from a coven of 13, we are talking about the involvement of 800 or so … on the Wasatch Front…”

The following information comes directly from Merradyth McCallister. She (allegedly) came from a family of generational incest. She was raised by her father in Salt Lake City and (allegedly) incested by him until she was 17 years old. Her father’s grandfather was from Kentucky and was a Mason, her father’s aunt from Nevada was in Eastern Star.

Her daughter in a Logan County Police Report reported that a bishop (twice) and his wife (once) (allegedly) raped and drugged her between the ages of 12 and 13 at a Christian girl’s camp.

Betty Rhoton, the mother of Cinda Rhoton, was (allegedly) drugged, tortured and ritually abused by the Mormons and helped Cinda Rhoton escape from the Mormons. Betty and Cinda witnessed the (alleged) torture and rape of the children by the same bishop and his wife.

The following information comes from “Occult Ritual Abuse – Fact or Fantasy?” also written by Jerald and Sandra Tanner. The information comes from Chapter VIII -Ritual Abuse in Oklahoma and a lot of the information was originally submitted by Merradyth and Jack McCallister of Oklahoma City (pages 179-198).

“In June of 1963, my husband Jack, had (allegedly) been sexually molested by his bishop (a bishop of the Oklahoma Ward who died in the 1960’s) for two years between 15 – 17… In June of 1993, our son, Scott, was 23 years old and recently returned from an honorable mission. He told my husband about (allegedly) being sexually molested between the age of 15 – 17 by the same bishop as Rhoton’s children…In September of 1993, the three of us talked to our Stake President. He threatened us to “either stop talking to Church members about this or I’ll draw up the papers to have you excommunicated.”

“…we went to the police and filed felony charges against Ron Phelps….they believed Scott and recognized the deception used by typical pedophiles with multiple….a criminal background check revealed Ron Phelps had been arrested for indecent exposure prior to being called as bishop in 1980 (the charges were later dropped). He was recently arrested in an Oklahoma University restroom in Norman, Ok. on December 3, 1993. He did ‘unlawfully, willfully and wrongly solicit, induce and entice one John Bishop, an undercover police officer, to commit an act of lewdness…”‘

Mr. McCallister, who also served as a Mormon bishop, claims that there were three other persons molested by Bishop Gardener . . . The Oklahoma newspaper, The Yukon review reported “Yukon’s Jack and Merradyth McCallister and fellow church member Mary Plourde, realizing they face excommunication for speaking out against the church, have accused Ron Phelps and other unnamed church leaders of ritually and sexually abusing children.”

“In a letter to another bishop, dated July 29, 1994, Mrs. McCallister wrote the following:….This issue is not about vengeance or forgiveness. I love my Church . . . 1 have decided if I can’t warn the parents within the system the only other choice is to warn them from sources outside the Church’s information network. I am willing to sacrifice my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints rather than be bound by silence from spiritual intimidation.”

“On August 2, 1994, the same bishop she wrote the letter to sent a letter to Mrs. McCallister informing her that she had been excommunicated…. Jack McCallister beat the church to the punch and withdrew his membership … he wrote: “… I refuse to place the reputation of the church ahead of the safety of our children. I refuse to protect (alleged) child sexual molesters in high places.”

“Another member of a Surrey Hills church has publicly accused church leaders of sexually abusing her children – both at the church and during youth group … Mary Plourde… believes her children have been abused since 1989 by the ex-bishop of the Surrey Hills church… (she was ) excommunicated … August 9, 1994″

“…church members who sided with … (Cinda Rhoton) have now implicated 15 to 20 other families in the church as being part of the alleged Satanic ring, and allegedly committing ritual abuse against the three children and herself… her children were kept in cages,…witnessed a ‘wicked’ witch stab a baby, and were forced to have oral sex with their father… she had been forced to prostitute herself… and had been a victim of mind control.” (The Surrey, Feb. 26, 1994)

“Cinda Rhoton … was interviewed on KFOR-TV. When she was asked if she had ever seen a baby killed, she replied, “Yes I have.” … treatment of the children: They tortured them with needles. They used ropes…. they also (allegedly) sexually abuse children… that sexual abuse was verified when Cinda Rhoton’s children were examined: “And, indeed, medical examinations of the children state sexual abuse. The eighteen-month old boy with rectal scarring, the four-year old boy with a hernia scar and an abrasion across the back of his head, and the five-year old girl with a callused vagina . . . The Piedmont Police chief, Don Payne… (said) ‘There’s not much doubt in my mind that the children were (allegedly) physically and sexually assaulted and molested and… (it) may have been in a cult or satanic manner, and may include multiple suspects.”‘

The following information comes from Cinda Rhoton’s court case against her husband, where she won custody of her children from him. (Pages 184 – 197)

In the court case, allegations of physical and verbal abuse against the husband are mentioned. He also threatened that her parents would kill her (Cinda) and threatened that someone would kill her youngest son.

“Kay Gillette, who worked with Cinda’s children, has a Master’s degree in psychology. She felt that it was likely they had been ritually abused… Gillette then graphically describes that Blake (Cinda’s three year old son) told her he was forced to perform oral sex on the man…. (Gillette also testifies) In ritual abuse…. cages are used because they are terrifying and because children are isolated. Sometimes they use cages to leave them for a long period of time where they don’t get to sleep and they don’t get to eat . . . whoever finally, quote, rescues the children from the cages… the child bends a little bit because they are so relieved to be out of the cages.”‘

“… Kay Gillette then said that Blake demonstrated with the dolls how his father had anal sex with him…” The children also had ropes put around their necks and much of the testimony is about the children being put in cages.

A witness testifies that Cinda was also put in cages and that she was given shots in the cages. One of the children also drew a picture showing the bishop previously mentioned as an alleged abuser in a robe with a pentagram on his head, and another drawing show the children and Cinda in cages. Several people also testified that Cinda was a battered woman.

The social worker Beula Love testifies, ‘Cinda is a very suggestible person. She grew up in an authoritarian home, she went to an authoritarian university. She was very compliant . . . she’s never been taught how to confront an issue’….Mind control certainly could have been a factor in her remaining in the relationship.

Dr. Richard Sternlof… PH.D. in clinical psychology from the university of Oklahoma, worked with Cinda and her children. (he testified):….Sad to say, that these things… have happened to these children. It’s not a fantasy, it’s not an imagination. It’s something that, in my opinion, very strongly believed that actually happened to the children…. (Heath’s (Cinda’s son) statement about the abuse) was done in a way and with the level of anxiety in this child that my clinical assessment would be that it was true.

A witness testified: “Dr. Sternlof claimed that Jennifer said her father forced oral sex upon then … what Kay Gillette, I think, told me was that when she (Jennifer) finished the drama, the baby was taken and the witch stabbed the baby and then put the baby in the ground.”

The case ended with a settlement that there would be no contact between the father and the children. The Piedmont Police Chief wanted to bring the abusers to justice. But “it would put a great deal of pressure on Cinda Rhoton and her children and could cause more trauma than they would be able to withstand…. It is certainly deplorable that crafty people can sexually abuse children to the point that they are unable to testify against those that have abused them.”

On page 162 and 163 of “Occult Ritual Abuse: Fact or Fantasy”, “a former Mormon…. claimed that his father was involved in Masonry when he was a child. … (they showed him) a copy of I) Duncan’s Masonic Ritual and Monitor. When he arrived at page 119… he was shaken to the core. The drawing on that page is supposed to represent…Hiram Abiff is shown lying blindfolded with a group of men encircling . . . lost control of himself and began to weep uncontrollably…. (he) explained that when he was young he went through the ritual pictured in the . . . The ritual he was forced to participate in was apparently something derived from Masonry that was extremely terrifying. Even though his father had broken some of his limbs, he felt that he loved him and eventually rescued …”

“When we discussed this… with Linda Walker, she stated that a Mormon woman had sent the same material from “Duncan’s Masonic Ritual and Monitor.” She alleged that the Mormon woman had also taken part in this type of ceremony and was actually buried alive . . . one of the victims of satanic ritual abuse claimed that the group his mother was involved with had combined elements of both Mormonism and Masonry into their ritual.”

Definition: http://dynamic.uoregon.edu/~jjf/whatabout.html What about Recovered Memories? Jennifer J. Freyd, University of Oregon “Sivers, Schooler, and Freyd (2002, p 169) define recovered memory as “The recollection of a memory that is perceived to have been unavailable for some period of time.”

Recovered Memory Corroboration:

Recovered memory corroboration rates – There are many studies that show fairly high corroboration rates for recovered memories. http://ritualabuse.us/research/memory-fms/recovered-memory-corroboration-rates/

Research discussing corroboration and accuracy of recovered memories: An Annotated Bibliography by Lynn Crook

http://www.brown.edu/Departments/Taubman_Center/Recovmem/index.html “…debate has focused on recovered memories of childhood sexual abuse. But the phenomenon extends to other traumas, including physical abuse or witnessing a murder. Almost everyone would agree that such traumas are normally remembered. That is, most people who experience such a trauma are likely to remember it, perhaps vividly and to the point of being intrusive. But do some people forget completely? A variety of scientific sources say “yes.” The purpose of this website, then, is to bring together the extensive and growing evidence of cases ignored or overlooked by self-described skeptics of various sorts. Peer-reviewed prospective studies and clinical studies continue to document this phenomenon. Moreover, cognitive psychologists have combined experimental data with these other sources to develop better ways of understanding this phenomenon.”

http://www.brown.edu/Departments/Taubman_Center/Recovmem/archive.html 101 Corroborated Cases of Recovered Memory

http://www.jimhopper.com/memory/ Recovered Memories of Sexual Abuse Scientific Research & Scholarly Resources by Jim Hopper “Amnesia for childhood sexual abuse is a condition. The existence of this condition is beyond dispute. Repression is merely one explanation – often a confusing and misleading one – for what causes the condition of amnesia. At least 10% of people sexually abused in childhood will have periods of complete amnesia for their abuse, followed by experiences of delayed recall.”

http://www.leadershipcouncil.org/1/tm/tm.html Research has shown that traumatized individuals respond by using a variety of psychological mechanisms. One of the most common means of dealing with the pain is to try and push it out of awareness. Some label the phenomenon of the process whereby the mind avoids conscious acknowledgment of traumatic experiences as dissociative amnesia .  Others use terms such as repression , dissociative state , traumatic amnesia, psychogenic shock, or motivated forgetting .  Semantics aside, there is near-universal scientific acceptance of the fact that the mind is capable of avoiding conscious recall of traumatic experiences.

How often do children’s reports of abuse turn out to be false? Research has consistently shown that false allegations of child sexual abuse by children are rare. Jones and McGraw examined 576 consecutive referrals of child sexual abuse to the Denver Department of Social Services, and categorized the reports as either reliable or fictitious. In only 1% of the total cases were children judged to have advanced a fictitious allegation. Jones, D. P. H., and J. M. McGraw: Reliable and Fictitious Accounts of Sexual Abuse to Children.Journal of Interpersonal Violence, 2, 27-45, 1987. In a more recent study, investigators reviewed case notes of all child sexual abuse reports to the Denver Department of Social Services over 12 months. Of the 551 cases reviewed, there were only 14 (2.5%) instances of erroneous concerns about abuse emanating from children. These consisted of three cases of allegations made in collusion with a parent, three cases where an innocent event was misinterpreted as sexual abuse and eight cases (1.5%) of false allegations of sexual abuse. Corroboration of ritual abuse was lower. One study of ritual abuse found 3% corroboration in delayed memory patients and 20% corroboration in patients with continuous memories of ritual abuse. Another study put the numbers between 14% and 37%.” Reference: Bowman, Elizabeth. Therapy for adults molested as children by John Briere “It is my clinical impression, supported by a growing body of research, that many (although not all) survivor reports of previously unavailable abuse memories represent actual occurrences. To the extent that this is true, there exists a certain unpleasant irony: By negating true accounts of sexual abuse, our culture may be accomplishing exactly what it discounts in the survivor: “Repressing” or wishing away things that are too painful to tolerate in conscious awareness.” p. 48 – Springer Publishing Company, 1996 ISBN 082615641X, 9780826156419, 256 pageshttp://books.google.com/books?id=tyz0GlsdxiUC

Synopsis of data from “Memory, Trauma Treatment, and the Law” by Brown, Scheflin and Hammond, W.W. Norton and Co. New York and London, C 1998 (http://www.wwnorton.com) Page 370-381

The base rates for memory commission errors are quite low, at least in professional trauma treatment. The base rates in adult misinformation studies run between zero and 5 percent for adults and between 3 – 5 percent for children.

“Occasional unwitting misleading suggestions (Yapko, 1994a), even the suggestion of a diagnosis of abuse, cannot adequately explain illusory memories of child sexual abuse.” (p. 379)

It is almost totally impossible for anyone to make a memory error for the central plot of a memory simply by hearing disinformation. A variety of other factors would have to be in place. Even under hypnosis without several social influence factors, it is extremely rare (4-6% of 7-10%, less than one percent of people) may be influenced by disinformation.

Memory on Trial – Research suggests that children’s memory may be more reliable than adults’ in court cases ...3/6/08 The U.S. legal system has long assumed that all testimony is not equally credible, that some witnesses are more reliable than others. In tough cases with child witnesses, it assumes adult witnesses to be more reliable. But what if the legal system had it wrong? Researchers Valerie Reyna, human development professor, and Chuck Brainerd, human development and law school professor — both from Cornell University — argue that like the two-headed Roman god Janus, memory is of two minds — that is, memories are captured and recorded separately and differently in two distinct parts of the mind. They say children depend more heavily on a part of the mind that records, “what actually happened,” while adults depend more on another part of the mind that records, “the meaning of what happened.” As a result, they say, adults are more susceptible to false memories, which can be extremely problematic in court cases. Reyna’s and Brainerd’s research, funded by the National Science Foundation, Arlington, Va., sparked more than 30 follow-up memory studies, many of them also funded by NSF. The researchers review the follow-on studies in an upcoming issue of Psychological Bulletin….Reyna and Brainerd’s findings are summarized in a new book, The Science of False Memory, published by Oxford University Press. http://www.nsf.gov/news/news_summ.jsp?cntn_id=111230&org=NSF&from=news?

“Forgetting and Recovering the Unforgettable.” Psychological Science – Volume 19, Number 5 – May 2008 Steven M. Smith & Sarah C. Moynan “Some experiences, particularly those that are emotional and distinctive, may seem unforgettable. Can memories of emotional and distinctive events be blocked from consciousness, and if so, can those memories subsequently be recovered? Although there is considerable laboratory research demonstrating false memories, relatively few studies have examined blocked and recovered memories, as we did in the study reported in this article. As noted in reviews by Gleaves, Smith, Butler, and Spiegel (2004) and by Roediger and Bergman (1998), the false-memory debate must be informed by experimental laboratory research examining not only false memories, but also blocked and recovered memories….In the present study, we investigated whether interference can cause dramatic forgetting that is subsequently reversed when retrieval cues are provided. Using a combination of classic laboratory methods for manipulating interference and cuing, we repeatedly found high levels of blocked and recovered memories, even for materials that had sexually explicit and violent content. correspondence to Steven M. “True” and “False” Child Sexual Abuse Memories and Casey’s Phenomenological View of Remembering Joanne M. Hall, Lori L. Kondora – American Behavioral Scientist, Vol. 48, No. 10, 1339-1359 (2005) DOI: 10.1177/0002764205277012

This analysis provides a historical context for the debate about “true” and “false” childhood sexual abuse memories; discusses selected literature about conventional understandings of memory and their relevance to this debate; presents an integrative, phenomenological approach to memory in the recovery and rehabilitation of women child sexual abuse survivors; and uses the insights gained to draw conclusions about the authenticity of delayed childhood sexual abuse memories. Edward Casey’s phenomenological concepts of reminding, reminiscing, recognition, body memory, place memory, and commemoration are used to illuminate the complexity of traumatic memories and recovery and rehabilitation needs of the survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

Article excerpts: The notion of false accusation is often raised in cases where physical evidence is not available and a period of time has passed or when there has been a delay in recall of the events by a survivor of child sexual abuse. This is not to imply that false memories are not possible. This article outlines how rare they must be, however, based on historical factors and a phenomenological analysis of memory itself….During periods of increased visibility of sexual abuse of children, society tends to deny it because its existence fractures cultural values about family (Summit, 1988). From a historical perspective, the current controversy about the truth or falsehood of childhood sexual abuse memories is one in a series of societal repudiations of the existence and extent of childhood sexual abuse, especially incest (Herman, 1992; Olafson, Corwin, & Summit, 1993; van der Kolk et al., 1996).

In the majority of publicized discussions of false memory syndrome, it is the delayed memories of women that are being challenged, suggesting that at the heart of this controversy, there are also gender conflicts. Specifically, this controversy reinforces an image of women as not to be trusted or believed….Most scientists investigating traumatic memory doubt that memories of abuse could be planted. In fact, childhood sexual abuse survivors would rather not believe that they had been so betrayed and violated by a trusted adult.Recent research shows many false negatives and few false positives in terms of memories of abuse (Hardt & Rutter, 2004). Furthermore, caregivers who work closely with traumatized individuals battle the temptation to suppress survivors’ stories of abuse because such material tends to exhaust their own sense of efficacy, creativity, and hope (Herman, 1992).

Research shows that 64% of adult women childhood sexual abuse survivors had some degree of amnesia regarding the trauma; but in the majority of cases, corroboration was available to verify that abuse had occurred (Herman & Schatzow, 1987). Of 129 women with recorded histories of childhood sexual abuse, 38% did not recall the abuse that had been clearly verified and documented decades earlier. This lack of recall was especially likely among those abused at younger ages and among those whose perpetrators were known by them at the time of the abuse (L.Williams, 1994). In fact, a body of empirical evidence indicates that it is common for abused children to reach adulthood without conscious awareness of the trauma (Briere, 1992; Herman, 1992; Schetky, 1990; van der Kolk et al., 1996). http://abs.sagepub.com/cgi/reprint/48/10/1339?ijkey=ciZjJlFifgYIY&keytype=ref&siteid=spabs

Consider This, Skeptics of Recovered Memory Author: Ross E. Cheit DOI: 10.1207/s15327019eb0802_4 Ethics & Behavior, Volume 8, Issue 2 June 1998 , pages 141 – 160 Formats available: PDF (English) Abstract : Some self-proclaimed skeptics of recovered memory claim that traumatic childhood events simply cannot be forgotten at the time only to be remembered later in life. This claim has been made repeatedly by the Advisory Board members of a prominent advocacy group for parents accused of sexual abuse, the so-called False Memory Syndrome Foundation. The research project described in this article identifies and documents the growing number of cases that have been ignored or distorted by such skeptics. To date, this project has documented 35 cases in which recovered memories of traumatic childhood events were corroborated by clear and convincing evidence. This article concludes with some observations about the politics of the false memory movement, particularly the tendency to conceal or omit evidence of corroboration. Several instances of this vanishing facts syndrome are documented and analyzed.http://www.leaonline.com/doi/abs/10.1207/s15327019eb0802_4?journalCode=eb

theories on recovered memory:

http://dynamic.uoregon.edu/~jjf/defineBT.html The phrase “betrayal trauma” can be used to refer to a kind of trauma (independent of the reaction to the trauma). E.G. This definition is on the web: “Most mental health professionals have expanded the definition of trauma to include betrayal trauma. Betrayal trauma occurs when the people or institutions we depend on for survival violate us in some way. An example of betrayal trauma is childhood physical, emotional, or sexual abuse.” fromhttp://www.loyola.edu/campuslife/healthservices/counselingcenter/trauma.html

The phrase “Betrayal Trauma theory” is generally used to refer to the prediction/theory about the cause of unawareness and amnesia as in: “Betrayal Trauma Theory: A theory that predicts that the degree to which a negative event represents a betrayal by a trusted needed other will influence the way in which that events is processed and remembered.” This definition is from: Sivers, H., Schooler, J. , Freyd, J. J. (2002) Recovered memories. In V.S. Ramachandran (Ed.) Encyclopedia of the Human Brain, Volume 4.(pp 169-184). San Diego, California and London: Academic Press. It has been proposed in the Betrayal Trauma Theory that “that psychogenic amnesia is an adaptive response to childhood abuse” and that “victims may need to remain unaware of the trauma not to reduce suffering but rather to promote survival.” Freyd, J.(1994) Betrayal Trauma: Traumatic Amnesia as an Adaptive Response to Childhood Abuse. Ground Lost: The False Memory/Recovered Memory Therapy Debate, by Alan Scheflin, Psychiatric Times 11/99, Vol. XVI Issue 11, “The appearance in the DSM-IV indicates that the concept of repressed memory is generally accepted in the relevant scientific community. This satisfies courts following the Frye v United States, 293 F.1013 (1923) or Daubert v Merrell Dow Pharmaceutical, 113 S. Ct. 2786 (1993) rules regarding the admissibility of scientific testimony into evidence in court.” And “Although the science is limited on this issue, the only three relevant studies conclude that repressed memories are no more and no less accurate than continuous memories (Dalenberg, 1996; Widom and Morris, 1997; Williams, 1995). Thus, courts and therapists should consider repressed memories no differently than they consider ordinary memories.” Athttp://www.psychiatrictimes.com/p991137.html

Recovered Memory and the Daubert Criteria : Recovered Memory as Professionally Tested, Peer Reviewed, and Accepted in the Relevant Scientific Community – Constance Dalenberg – Alliant International University California School of Professional Psychology – Trauma, Violence, & Abuse, Vol. 7, No. 4, 274-310 (2006) DOI: 10.1177/1524838006294572 Research during the past two decades has firmly established the reliability of the phenomenon of recovered memory. This review first highlights the strongest evidence for the phenomenon itself and discusses the survey, experimental, and biological evidence for the varying mechanisms that may underlie the phenomenon. Routes to traumatic amnesia from dissociative detachment (loss of emotional content leading to loss of factual content) and from dissociative compartmentalization (failure in integration) are discussed. Next, an argument is made that false memory is a largely orthogonal concept to recovered memory; the possibility of one phenomena is largely irrelevant to the potential for the other. Furthermore, some aspects of the false memory research offer supportive data for the recovered memory researcher. Finally, the issue of error rates in making the Daubert case is explored. It is concluded that the weight of the evidence should allow the recovered memory victim to come before the court. http://tva.sagepub.com/cgi/content/abstract/7/4/274

synopsis of part of van der Kolk, B. A. & Fisler, R. (1995) Dissociation and the fragmentary nature of traumatic memories: Overview and exploratory study.http://web.archive.org/web/20021211024350/http://www.trauma-pages.com/vanderk2.htm

van der Kolk and Fisler’s research shows that traumatic memories are retrieved, at least at first, in the form of mental imprints that are dissociated. These imprints are of the affective and sensory elements of the traumatic experience. Clients have reported the slow emergence of a personal narrative that can be considered explicit (conscious) memory. The level of emotional significance of a memory correlates directly with the memory’s veracity. Studies of subjective reports of memory show that memories of highly significant events are unusually accurate and stable over time. There are a variety of memory systems which usually operate outside of conscious awareness. These systems operate with some independence from the other memory systems. While people appear to easily assimilate expected and known experiences, aspects of traumatic experiences appear to get stuck in the mind, unaltered by time passing or experiences that may follow. The imprints of traumatic experiences appear to be qualitatively different from those of nontraumatic events. Explicit memories of personal facts or events are affected by lesions of the front lobe and hippocampus. These parts of the brain are also involved in PTSD neurobiology. Traumatic memories may be coded differently than ordinary event memories, possibly because of alterations in attentional focusing or the fact that extreme emotional arousal interferes with the memory functions of the hippocampus.

Traumas can interfere with several memory functions. van der Kolk divided these functional disturbances into four sets, traumatic amnesia, global memory impairment, dissociative processes and traumatic memories’ sensorimotor organization. Traumatic amnesia involves the loss of remembering traumatic experiences. The younger the subject and the longer the traumatic event is, the greater the chance of significant amnesia. Global memory impairment makes it difficult for these subjects to construct an accurate account of their present and past history. Dissociation refers to memories being stored as fragments and not as unitary wholes. Not being able to integrate traumatic memories seems to be the main element which leads to PTSD. In the sensorimotor organization of traumatic memories, sensations are fragmented into different sensory components.

Synopsis of part of van der Kolk, B. A. (1994). The body keeps the score: Memory and the evolving psychobiology of post traumatic stress.http://web.archive.org/web/20041204204758/http://www.trauma-pages.com/vanderk4.htm

Trauma victims do not respond to stress the way normals do. Pressure situations may cause a feeling of retraumatization. High states of arousal may promote the retrieval of trauma memories and associated phenomena such as sensory information or behaviors connected to prior trauma. Therefore, traumatic memories may be considered state dependent. Under stress, people secrete endogenous stress hormones that affect memory consolidation strength. Through studies on animal models, it is assumed that the large secretion of neurohormones during a traumatic event in part causes long-term potentiation (LTP) and the over-consolidation of traumatic memories. This LTP may cause an organism to remember a trauma whenever aroused. Neuroepinepehrine may be the major hormone causing LTP. Endorphins and oxytocin may actually cause inhibition of the consolidation of memories. Reliving the traumatic event may cause stress hormones to strength the memory trace causing a positive feedback loop.

The limbic system is believed to be critically involved in memory storage and retrieval as well as giving emotional significance to sensory inputs. Research in brain imaging studies suggests that trauma patients may have limbic system abnormalities. One part of the limbic system, the amygdala, may assign free-floating feelings to input which are then elaborated upon by the neocortex and imbued with personal meaning. It may also integrate internal representations of the external world in memory image form associating emotional experiences with these memories. The septo-hippocampal system is thought to record memory in temporal and spatial dimensions, and plays an important role in storing and categorizing incoming stimuli in memory. Hippocampal damage is connected to over responsiveness to external stimuli. When stress interferes with the hippocampus’ mediation of memory, it is possible that some of the memory is kept by a system that records emotional experience, but there is no symbolic placement of it in time or space. In animals, high stimulation of the amygdala interferes with hippocampal processing. Strong affect may disallow proper evaluating and categorizing of an experience.

Professor uncovers the nature of memories – Associate Professor Michael Anderson recently published a new study of what the brain does when a person forgets By Caron Alarab 1/14/03 “A University researcher is receiving international attention this week for a recent experiment exploring why people forget. With a team of Stanford researchers, Associate Professor of psychology Michael Anderson found people can use certain brain regions to block memories just as they do to control physical actions. “It’s no longer possible to say that human beings can’t actively forget,” said Anderson, one of the nation’s leading memory researchers. “Our research demystifies the idea of memory suppression.” The findings, which were published in the Jan. 9 issue of Science magazine, support Sigmund Freud’s controversial century-old theory about the existence of voluntary memory suppression. For the experiment, Anderson recruited Stanford researcher John Gabrieli and the two co-wrote the Science article “Neural Systems Underlying the Suppression of Unwanted Memories.” http://www.dailyemerald.com/

Research Reveals Brain Has Biological Mechanism To Block Unwanted Memories 1/9/04 “For the first time, researchers at Stanford University and the University of Oregon have shown that a biological mechanism exists in the human brain to block unwanted memories. The findings, to be published Jan. 9 in the journal Science, reinforce Sigmund Freud’s controversial century-old thesis about the existence of voluntary memory suppression. “The big news is that we’ve shown how the human brain blocks an unwanted memory, that there is such a mechanism and it has a biological basis,” said Stanford psychology Professor John Gabrieli, a co-author of the paper titled “Neural Systems Underlying the Suppression of Unwanted Memories.” “It gets you past the possibility that there’s nothing in the brain that would suppress a memory – that it was all a misunderstood fiction.” The experiment showed that people are capable of repeatedly blocking thoughts of experiences they don’t want to remember until they can no longer retrieve the memory, even if they want to, Gabrieli explained.” http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2004/01/040109072004.htm

The nature of traumatic memories: A 4-T FMRI functional connectivity analysis. Lanius RA, Williamson PC, Densmore M, Boksman K, Neufeld RW, Gati JS, Menon RS. Am J Psychiatry 2004 Jan; 161(1):36-44. RESULTS: Significant between-group differences in functional connectivity were found. Comparison of connectivity maps at coordinates x=2, y=20, z=36 (right anterior cingulate gyrus) for the two groups showed that the subjects without PTSD had greater correlation than the PTSD subjects in the left superior frontal gyrus (Brodmann’s area 9), left anterior cingulate gyrus (Brodmann’s area 32), left striatum (caudate), left parietal lobe (Brodmann’s areas 40 and 43), and left insula (Brodmann’s area 13). In contrast, the PTSD subjects showed greater correlation than the subjects without PTSD in the right posterior cingulate gyrus (Brodmann’s area 29), right caudate, right parietal lobe (Brodmann’s areas 7 and 40), and right occipital lobe (Brodmann’s area 19). CONCLUSIONS: The differences in brain connectivity between PTSD and comparison subjects may account for the nonverbal nature of traumatic memory recall in PTSD subjects, compared to a more verbal pattern of traumatic memory recall in comparison subjects.

Imagination inflation: A statistical artifact of regression toward the mean. Pezdek K, Eddy RM Mem Cognit 2001 Jul; 29(5):707-18; discussion 719-29 “In the imagination inflation procedure of Garry, Manning, Loftus, and Sherman (1996), subjects rated a list of events in terms of how likely each was to have occurred in their childhood. Two weeks later, some of the events were imagined; control events were not. The subjects then rated the likelihood of occurrence for each event a second time. Garry et al. (1996) reported that the act of imagining the target events led to increased ratings of likelihood. This finding has been interpreted as indicating that false events can be suggestively planted in memory by simply having people imagine them. The present study tests and confirms the hypothesis that the results that have been attributed to imagination inflation are simply a statistical artifact of regression toward the mean.” Author contact: Department of Psychology, Claremont Graduate University, California 91711-3955, USA. kathy.pezdek@cgu.edu   http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11531226

False Memory Syndrome : A False Construct by Juliette Cutler Page “The concept of “recovered memory”, that is, memory of a traumatic event that had been forgotten for some period of time, has been variously explained by such mechanisms as repression, amnesia, and dissociation. However, there are over 100 years of reports and descriptions of recovered memory in the literature, including instances from times of war, torture, bereavement, natural disasters, and concentration camp imprisonment. (HOROWITZ) Many corroborated cases have been documented in instances of recovered memory of sexual abuse…”

“For example, women with known histories of abuse have been studied to determine if they had ever had periods in which the abuse had been forgotten. The abstract of Linda M. Williams’ 1995 study, Recovered memories of abuse in women with documented child sexual victimization histories. (Journal of Traumatic Stress, 8,649 — 673, 1995) states: The study provides evidence that some adults who claimed to have recovered memories of sexual abuse recall actual events that occurred in childhood. 129 women with documented histories of sexual victimization in childhood were interviewed and asked about abuse history. 17 years following the initial report of the abuse, 80 of the women recalled the victimization. One in 10 women (16 percent of those who recalled the abuse) reported that at some time in the past they had forgotten about the abuse. Those with a prior period of forgetting — the women with”recovered memories” — were younger at the time of abuse and were less likely to have received support from their mothers than the women who reported that they had always remembered their victimization. The women who had recovered memories and those who had always remembered had the same number of discrepancies when their account of the abuse were compared to the reports from the early 1970s. None of the women in this study who had forgotten the abuse were in therapy at the time they began to remember again, and women’s memories, when they returned, were consistent with the actual abuse.

Charles L. Whitfield, M.D. performed a review of 36 studies on over 6,000 children and adults who were abused as children. His results showed that between 16 and 78% of subjects in these studies experienced partial to total amnesia for their abuse for some substantial amount of time. Most of the subjects had been sexually abused as children. Eight of these studies involved only subjects with fully corroborated abuse histories, four had to a corroboration rate of 60 to 80 percent, and four had corroboration among half of the subjects. All groups were similar in occurrence of traumatic amnesia.

Elizabeth Loftus herself has published studies showing evidence of recovered memory. The 4 January 1996 issue of Accuracy About Abuse notes: Elizabeth Loftus, high profile FMSF advocate, published a paper with colleagues on Remembering and Repressing in1994. In a study of 105 women outpatients in a substance abuse clinic 54 % reported a history of childhood sexual abuse. 81% remembered all or part of the abuse. 19% reported they forgot the abuse for a period of time and later the memory returned. Women who remembered the abuse their whole lives reported a clearer memory, with a more detailed picture. Women who remembered the abuse their whole lives did not differ from others in terms of the violence of the abuse or whether the violence was incestuous. [Psychology of Women Quarterly, 18 (1994) 67-84.]

Loftus has also discussed “motivated forgetting”, and has presented the documented study of a college professor who became unable to remember a series of traumas, but after some time was able to recover those memories. Loftus remarked “after such an enormously stressful experience, many individuals wish to forget… And often their wish is granted.” (Loftus, 1980/1988, p. 73)”http://web.archive.org/web/20030608221633/http://www.feminista.com/v1n9/false-memory.html

How People Forget: The Truth About Delayed Memory Studies of Delayed Memoryhttp://web.archive.org/web/20000609035705/http://ncasa.org/memory.html

That dissociation and amnesia are relatively common in child sexual abuse survivors is well-documented. There have been several recent studies that verify the repression of trauma and the fact of delayed memories: In a survey of 450 adults in treatment for child sexual abuse, 59% had periods in which they could not remember the abuse. (Briere and Conte, in press).

In a study of 53 women in therapy, Judith Herman and Emily Schatzow found that 74% were able to obtain corroborating evidence for the abuse, through witnesses, offenders’ diaries, pornographic pictures, offender confessions, and other sources. Nine percent found evidence that was “strongly suggestive, but not conclusive;” 11% did not try to confirm their memories; and only 6% found no supportive evidence. The conclusion of the researchers was that, “delayed recall of sexual abuse is as verifiable as any other form of disclosure.”

Interviews were conducted with 100 women who as children reported sexual abuse in 1973,1974 or 1975. The records of these girls were obtained from a city hospital emergency department which had interviewed the girls and the families and collected forensic evidence. In 1990 and 1991 the women, aged 18-31, were interviewed for two hours for what they were told was a study that examined the lives and health of women who obtained care at the hospital. In the course of the interview, the women were asked about their childhood experiences with sex. They were asked whether they or their families had ever reported childhood sexual abuse, or if anyone in their family ‘got in trouble’ for his or her sexual activities. Thirty-eight percent of the women either did not remember the abuse or chose not to report it to the interviewer. The interviewer states,”…qualitative analysis of these reports and non-reports suggests that the vast majority of the 38% were women who did not remember the abuse. They responded openly to other personal matters, and over one-half of the women who were amnestic reported other childhood victimizations.”

In the recent case of Father James Porter – a Catholic priest who admitted molesting more than100 boys and girls – many of his victims, now adults, remembered the abuse only after hearing about the case through the media. Even the first victim to come forward stated that there had been a period of amnesia for the abuse. In these cases, both the fact of the abuse and the reality of the delayed memories were confirmed.

Iatrogenic memory change. Examining the empirical evidence. Leavitt F Am J Forensic Psychol (19)2: 21-32, 2001. “Certainty of sexual abuse predated treatment in 33% of the cases. Therapeutic causation was unlikely in another 26% because personal certainty of abuse emerged on average 4.1 years after termination of treatment. The pattern was similar for groups treated with and without hypnosis. Remarkably few patients recovered first memories in therapy with the help of hypnosis. This study places the percentage at 4%. Thus, in the direct study of patients who recovered memory of childhood sexual abuse, hypnosis was not an important factor in the emergence of sexual abuse memories. …The results do not support widespread implanting of novel memories of sexual abuse by therapists.”

Suspected repressed childhood sexual abuse: Gender effects on diagnosis and treatment. Sullins CD Psychology of Women Quarterly 1998 Sep Vol 22(3) 403-418 “These results do not support reports that many therapists neglect clients’ current symptoms and instead focus on memories, use controversial techniques, make suggestive statements regarding abuse, or immediately assume that their clients have repressed memories.” J. Herman, author of “Trauma and Recovery” replies to Ethan Watters “Doors of Memory” (Jan./Feb. ’93) in Mother Jones http://www.motherjones.com/commentary/letters/1993/03/backtalk.html “by now exhaustively documented. Sexual abuse of children is common (best estimates: at least one girl in three, one boy in ten). It is not over reported but vastly under-reported (best estimates: under 10 percent of all cases come to the attention of child-protective agencies or police). False complaints do occur, but they are rare (best estimates: under 5 percent of all complaints). Most victims do not disclose their abuse until long after the fact, if ever. Though many suffer long-lasting psychological harm, the great majority never see a therapist.”

Is There a False Memory Epidemic? by Stephanie J. Dallam, RN, MSN, FNP ….Conclusions –There is no reliable evidence to substantiate claims that the false memory syndrome is a “growing problem”, a “crisis”, or that it constitutes an”epidemic”. Despite the False Memory Syndrome Foundation’s pledge to disseminate only accurate information on memory, their contact and membership statistics, as reported in their newsletters and in the media, reveal a disturbing lack of clarity and consistency. These same statistics, in turn, have provided credibility to claims that a false memory “epidemic” is sweeping the country. Although 25 studies have confirmed the reality of amnesia in sexually traumatized populations, no reliable research has provided evidence to substantiate the existence of the false memory syndrome as it is defined by the False Memory Syndrome Foundation.http://web.archive.org/web/19991128134659/http://idealist.com/tat/97-07-03-epidemic.shtml

“The hypothesis that false memories can easily be implanted in psychotherapy (Lindsay & Read, 1994; Loftus 1993; Loftus & Ketcham, 1994; Ofshe and Watters, 1993, 1994; Yapko, 1994a) seriously overstates the available data. Since no studies have been conducted on suggested effects in psychotherapy per se, the idea of iatrogenic suggestion of false memories remains an untested hypothesis. Media Manipulation

U-Turn on Memory Lane by Mike Stanton – Columbia Journalism Review – July/August 1997

The FMSF builds much of its case against recovered memory by attacking a generally discredited Freudian concept of repression that proponents of recovered memory don’t buy, either. In so doing, the foundation ignores the fifty-year-old literature on traumatic, or psychogenic amnesia, which is an accepted diagnosis by the American Psychiatric Association. In his 1996 book “Searching for Memory,” the Harvard psychologist and brain researcher Daniel L. Schachter — who believes that both true and false memories exist — says there is no conclusive scientific evidence that false memories can be created….The foundation and its backers “remind me of a high school debate team,” says the Stanford psychiatrist David Spiegel, an authority on traumatic amnesia. “They go to the library, surgically extract the information convenient to them and throw out the rest.”….Many therapists, like their patients, hesitate to speak out.Recently, though, they have begun to make a more concerted effort to mobilize a response. One of the most outspoken critics of the false-memory movement is a Seattle therapist, David Calof, editor until last year of Treating Abuse Today, a newsletter for therapists. He has identified what he calls the movement’s political agenda — lobbying for more restrictive laws governing therapy and promoting the harassment of therapists through lawsuits and even picketing of their offices and homes. Calof himself has been the target of picketing so fierce that he has been in and out of Seattle courtrooms over the last two years, obtaining restraining orders. He was spending so much time and money fighting the FMSF supporters’ campaign against him, he says, that he was forced to stop publishing the newsletter last year. He recently donated the publication to a victims’ rights group in Pennsylvania, which has resurrected it as Trauma. The new publisher says that views part of its mission as reporting on FMSF, since the mainstream media don’t.

Among journalists, perhaps the most relentless critic of the foundation is Michele Landsberg, a Toronto Star columnist. In 1993, she says, an Ontario couple, claiming to have been falsely accused, contacted her and asked her to write about their case. Unconvinced, she declined, and eventually started writing instead about the foundation. She attacked its scientific claims and criticized the sensational media coverage. She described how a foundation scientific adviser, Harold Merskey, had testified that a woman accusing a doctor of sexual abuse in a civil case might in fact have been suffering from false memory syndrome. But the accused doctor himself had previously confessed to criminal charges of abusing her. Landsberg also challenged the credentials of other foundation advisers. She noted that one founding adviser, Ralph Underwager, was forced to resign from the foundation’s board after he and his wife, Hollida Wakefield, who remains an adviser, gave an interview to a Dutch pedophilia magazine in which he was quoted as describing pedophilia as”an acceptable expression of God’s will for love.” Landsberg also wrote that another adviser, James Randi, a magician known as “The Amazing Randi,” had been involved in a lawsuit in which his opponent introduced a tape of sexually explicit telephone conversations Randi had with teenage boys. (Randi has claimed at various times, she said, that the tape was a hoax and that the police asked him to make it.) “Why haven’t reporters investigated the False Memory Syndrome Foundation?” she asks. “It’s legitimate to examine their backgrounds –here are people who really do have powerful motivation to deny the truth.”http://web.archive.org/web/20071216011151/http://backissues.cjrarchives.org/year/97/4/memory.asp

Battle Tactics of the False Memory Syndrome Foundation – Noel Packard – New School for Social Research, N.Y. History Matters Conference April 23-24, 2004 Censorship is also a tactic that FMS Foundation adherents use to silence voices they don’t agree with. Katy Butler, published a critical review of Ofshe’s and Watter’s book, Making Monsters (1994) in the Los Angeles Times. Later the newspaper’s book review editor received a vague threat of a lawsuit from Ofshe’s representative (K. Butler personal communication with Lynn Crook January 28, 2000). Later Butler was asked to write a story for Newsweek examining the uncritical acceptance of Foundation claims and to provide documented cases of recovered memory and traumatic amnesia. Upon learning of this assignment Foundation Advisory Board members Richard Ofshe and Fredrick Crews, as well as Peter and Pamela Freyd, wrote strongly worded letters of complaint to Newsweek which effectively canceled Butler’s assignment (Stanton 1997). Although these censorship activities were reported in Mike Stanton’s article “U-Turn on Memory Lane” (1997) Nevertheless, Newsweek editors confirmed that the FMS Foundation letters helped kill Butler’s article. Butler said at a national conference of investigative reporters and editors in Rhode Island in 1996: “I’ve worked hard very hard to tell both sides of the story. What’s interesting to me about all of this that telling both sides has started to seem like a risky act.” (Stanton 1997: 49)….In 1994 the editor of the Journal of Psychohistory Lloyd DeMause wrote to many professional subscribers to inform them that he feared a lawsuit by the FMS Foundation for publishing a special issue of his journal on cult abuse. Dr. Jean Goodwin a psychiatrist at University of Texas Medical Branch responded with a letter that conveys the overall feeling among the mental health community in the early 1990s. Goodwin: From a Psychohistorical viewpoint it is fascinating to watch this organization systematically limit freedom of speech in this area. Their suits of publishers have driven many books out of print. Board members have prevented publication of many articles. As far as I know you are the first journal editor they have targeted. The slander suit stopped the audio-tapping of many presentations in this area. The licensing attacks and the malpractice suits threaten freedom of speech in the psychotherapy consulting room, which is where it is supposed to be most free. Silence still is the priority for the perpetrator (Goodwin 1994) Goodwin’s letter captures the effect that Foundations’ tactics had on the therapy community in the early 1990s. Today the overall effect of the Foundation’s court cases and tactics is more muted. One newly graduated MFT told me that as far as she knows the Foundation has had no impact on the practices of MFTs at all. A social worker who teaches a certification class on mandated reporting includes the Foundation topic in her lectures, saying that the Foundation “made us clean up our act.” I’ve also heard a seasoned MFT who teaches a class titled, “Counseling as a Career Option” lament that practicing psychotherapy is becoming a profession only for the rich (both as practitioners and clients). Perhaps this is due to recent constrictions and costs associated with lawsuits, training programs, licensing and insurance policies? It appears that the Foundations’ efforts to drive non-cognitive therapy beyond the grasp of un-wealthy clients are having some success. Kondora’s and Beckett’s studies indicate that the Foundation has been successful in many of its efforts to manage public perception of child abuse victims, therapists and the people accused of child abuse. Kondora and Beckett show that not only has public perception of victimized children become skeptical, but in fact, the press often goes beyond the Victorian custom of neutrality on all fronts of the issue, to out-right sympathy for accused molesters. What began in the 1960s and 1970s as a child welfare movement has arrived today as an accused sex-offender welfare movement (Goldsmith 2003); and right in time for an era when people are having more babies, less birth control and have easier ways to create home based child pornography than ever before. The Foundation has won many expensive malpractice lawsuits that have made news headlines. Such cases have probably put a chill into more than one therapy session, which is what they are intended to do. The Foundation’s efforts in and out of the court room have provided reasons for health insurance companies to reduce insurance payments for mental health care and have tied those payments generally to mental health diagnoses. Training programs for clinical therapists have become more like the clinical training programs of the cold-war years, more science oriented, more stringent, more biologically and drug oriented, and less theory and talked based. Many of the support groups, networks, newsletters, journals, and even significant names in the child welfare movement of the 1980′s and 1990′s have faded, vanished or been displaced by on-line and other services of the FMS Foundation. Dr. Ofshe’s Testimony

In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida in and for Pinellas County Criminal Division State of Florida – CASE NO.: CRC99-18956CFANO     Division: M  – Nathan Brinkle  – SPN: 01659274; Defendant. Order Denying Defendant’s Motion to Suppress #3, Motion to Suppress #4, and Amended Motion to Suppress #4 (Heard February 14, 2002, April 18,2002, and May 10, 2002)….Dr. Ofshe’s Testimony – After carefully listening to his testimony offered at the May 10, 2002 hearing, the court specifically declines to adopt any of the expert testimony offered by Dr. Ofshe. As explained below, the court found his testimony to lack credibility. First, the court specifically finds that Dr. Ofshe’s testimony on cross-examination, in a few critical areas, was wholly inconsistent with his testimony on direct-examination….

This observation leads the court to discuss another area of concern about Dr. Ofshe. It is clear to the court, after reading the transcript of the interview conducted at the Pinellas County Jail, that Dr. Ofshe did, in fact, ask the defendant numerous leading questions, and that he did indeed suggest to the defendant that he was bated, coerced, and improperly motivated during the interview (e.g., page 26, line 15:

Dr Ofshe: “You have to understand that they’re playing a game with you.”). During the interview, Dr. Ofshe repeatedly suggested and even told the defendant that he was manipulated and coerced, after which the defendant then stated: Okay. Now I’m catching on to what’s going on here…. For hours I was kind of lost before. I know she [defense counsel] told me what you was coming to really do, but, you know, until you get into it, until I get into it, you know, it really then- it’s really not dawned on me. [Transcript of Interview at Pinellas County Jail: pages 20-21 ].

That the defendant was ill prepared for the interview does not, in the court’s opinion justify a blatant attempt to “coach” the defendant or convince him that he was psychologically coerced. Although this arguably goes to the defendant’s theory of the case and the preparation thereof, it is a factor that the court can consider as the fact-finder to determine the expert witness’ credibility. For all of the reasons listed above, the court rejects the testimony of Dr. Ofshe, finding him to lack credibility. In deciding to reject his testimony for purposes of these pretrial motions, the court makes no comment on the admissibility of Dr. Ofshe’s testimony at trial or whether he is qualified as an expert to testify at trial. Boyer v. State, 2002 WL 925015, 27 Fla. L. Weekly D 1113 (Fla. 5-th DCA 2002) (holding that the trial court erred in excluding Dr. Ofshe’s testimony at trial after finding him qualified to testify as an expert where Dr. Ofshe’s testimony went to the defendant’s main defense). http://www.reid.com/educational_info/criticnbrinkley.html

Basic Information on Dissociative Identity Disorder with sections on Basic Information on DID from the DSM‑IV‑TR, The History of DID/MPD, Diagnosing DID, Responses to those that state that DID is iatrogenic or a social construct,  MPD/DID connection to severe abuse, Recent information and DID resources  – http://ritualabuse.us/research/did/basic-information-on-didmpd/

From the DSM-IV-TR (American Psychological Association (2000). Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders (4th ed. text revision).Washington, D. C .)

DID is defined in the DSM-IV-TR as the presence of two or more personality states or distinct identities that repeatedly take control of one’s behavior. The patient has an inability to recall personal information. The extent of this lack of recall is too great to be explained by normal forgetfulness. The disorder cannot be due to the direct physical effects of a general medical condition or substance.

DID entails a failure to integrate certain aspects of memory, consciousness and identity. Patients experience frequent gaps in their memory for their personal history, past and present. Patients with DID report having severe physical and sexual abuse, especially during childhood. There is controversy around these reports, because childhood memories may be exposed to distortion and some patients with DID are highly hypnotizable and vulnerable to suggestive influences. But, the reports of patients with DID are often validated by objective evidence. People that are responsible for acts of sexual and physical abuse may be prone to distorting or denying their behavior.

Physical evidence may include variations in physiological functions in different identity states, including differences in vision, levels of pain tolerance, symptoms of asthma, the response of blood glucose to insulin and sensitivity to allergens. Other physical findings may include scars from physical abuse or self-inflicted injuries, headaches or migraines, asthma and irritable bowel syndrome.

DID is found in a variety of cultures around the world. It is diagnosed three to nine times more often in adult females than males. Females average 15 or more identities, males eight identities. The sharp rise in the reported cases of DID in the U.S. may be due the greater awareness of DID’s diagnosis, which has caused an increased identification of those that were previously undiagnosed. Others believe it has been overdiagnosed in those that are highly suggestible.

The average time period from DID’s first presentation of symptoms to its diagnosis is six to seven years. DID may become less manifest as patients reach past their late 40’s, but it can reemerge during stress, trauma or substance abuse. It is suggested in several studies that DID is more likely to occur with first-degree biological relatives of people that already have DID, than in the regular population.

Delineates the etiological antecedents of Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and enumerates upon the scientific evidence proving the existence of DID. This paper explains the diagnostic criteria of DID, its incidence rates and cross-cultural characteristics, present arguments to counter the idea that suggestibility may be a factor in its misdiagnosis and delineate the data that shows a clear connection between traumatic wartime experiences and dissociation and trauma and DID. It considers the historical development of the debate surrounding DID, including its increased diagnosis around the turn of the last century, reasons for its decline in diagnosis in the mid part of the last century and reasons for its increased diagnosis toward the end of the 20th century. It deliberates upon the claims made by several researchers that DID can be created in the laboratory as well as the critiques surrounding those claims. It discusses the neurobiological evidence proving the connection between DID and certain neurobiological indicators. Included is a discussion of the modern theory of iatrogenic DID and a critique of this theory. A debate about the creation of DID as a social construction and critiques of this theory are presented as well. It concludes, by presenting the argument that the research on DID shows it to be a valid psychiatric diagnosis which robustly meets all the necessary validity requirements.http://ritualabuse.us/research/did/the-etymological-antecedents-of-and-scientific-evidence-for-the-existence-of-dissociative-identity-disorder/

Describes the methods and criteria used for diagnosing and assessing Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). The symptoms and etiology of DID are discussed. The use of client histories, different psychological tests and the test results of different test items are discussed in terms of their applicability to a diagnosis, as well as their validity and reliability.  Differential diagnoses and their effect on the diagnosis of DID are enumerated upon. The dissociative spectrum and ritual abuse are discussed briefly, in order to help clarify the symptomology and etiology of DID.

An examination of the diagnostic validity of dissociative identity disorder. Gleaves DH, May MC, Cardeña E Clin Psychol Rev. 2001 Jun;21(4):577-608.
We review the empirical evidence for the validity of the Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) diagnosis, the vast majority of which has come from research conducted within the last 10 years. After reviewing three different guidelines to establish diagnostic validity, we conclude that considerable converging evidence supports the inclusion of DID in the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders. For instance, DID appears to meet all of the guidelines for inclusion and none of the exclusion guidelines; proposed by Blashfield et al.[Comprehensive Psychiatry 31 (1990) 15-19], and it is one of the few disorders currently supported by taxometric research. However, we also discuss possible problems with the current diagnostic criteria and offer recommendations, based on recent research, for possible revisions to these criteria. “In conclusion, despite its long and controversial past, there has been a wealth of research accumulate over the past 10 to 15 years on the DID diagnosis. This research seems to establish the validity of the DID diagnosis.”

Objective documentation of child abuse and dissociation in 12 murderers with Dissociative Identity Disorder. Lewis, D.O., Yeager, C.A., Swica, Y., Pincus, J.H., & Lewis, M. (1997). American Journal of Psychiatry, 154, 1703-1710. RESULTS: Signs and symptoms of dissociative identity disorder in childhood and adulthood were corroborated independently and from several sources in all 12 cases; objective evidence of severe abuse was obtained in 11 cases. The subjects had amnesia for most of the abuse and underreported it. Marked changes in writing style and/or signatures were documented in 10 cases.  CONCLUSIONS:This study establishes, once and for all, the linkage between early severe abuse and dissociative identity disorder. Further, the data demonstrate that the disorder can be distinguished from malingering and from other disorders. The study shows that it is possible, with great effort, to obtain objective evidence of both the symptoms of dissociative identity disorder and the abuse that engenders it.http://ajp.psychiatryonline.org/cgi/content/full/154/12/1703

Youth Is Convicted In Slaying of 3 Boys In an Arkansas City CORNING, Ark., Feb. 4 The teen-ager, Jessie Lloyd Misskelley Jr., 18, was found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of a boy whom he had admitted chasing down. He was convicted of second-degree murder in the deaths of the other two boys….Mr. Misskelley told the police in two tape-recorded interviews that he had watched as his two friends beat the boys, raped two of them and castrated one. The prosecution said the slayings might have been part of a Satanic ritual.http://www.nytimes.com/1994/02/05/us/youth-is-convicted-in-slaying-of-3-boys-in-an-arkansas-city.html?scp=11&sq=west+memphis+3+murder+case&st=nyt

Jessie Lloyd MISSKELLEY, Jr. v. STATE of Arkansas CR 94-848 S.W.2d Supreme Court of Arkansas Opinion delivered February 19, 1996

On June 3, 1993, the crime having remained unsolved, Detective Sergeant Mike Allen sought the appellant out for questioning. The appellant was not considered a suspect, but it was thought he might have knowledge about Damien Echols, who was a suspect. Detective Allen located the appellant and brought him back to the station, arriving at approximately 10:00 a.m. Later in this opinion, we will address in detail the circumstances surrounding the appellant’s interrogation. For now, it is sufficient to say that the appellant was questioned off and on over a period from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. At 2:44 p.m. and again at approximately 5:00 p.m., he gave statements to police in which he confessed his involvement in the murders. Both statements were tape-recorded….

In the early morning hours of May 5, 1993, the appellant received a phone call from Jason Baldwin. Baldwin asked the appellant to accompany him and Damien Echols to the Robin Hood area. The appellant agreed to go. They went to the area, which has a creek, and were in the creek when the victims rode up on their bicycles. Baldwin and Echols called to the boys, who came to the creek. The boys were severely beaten by Baldwin and Echols. At least two of the boys were raped and forced to perform oral sex on Baldwin and Echols. According to appellant, he was merely an observer.

While these events were taking place, Michael Moore tried to escape and began running. The appellant chased him down and returned him to Baldwin and Echols. The appellant also stated that Baldwin had used a knife to cut the boys in the facial area and that the Byers boy was cut on his penis. Echols used a large stick to hit one of the boys. All three boys had their clothes taken off and were tied up….
The appellant was asked about his involvement in a cult. He said he had been involved for about three months. The participants would typically meet in the woods. They engaged in orgies and, as an initiation rite, killing and eating dogs. He noted that at one cult meeting, he saw a picture that Echols had taken of the three boys. He stated that Echols had been watching the boys….

Damien Echols was observed near the crime scene at 9:30 p.m. on May 5. He was wearing black pants and a black shirt and his clothes were muddy. A witness testified that she had attended a satanic cult meeting with Echols and the appellant….a witness from the State Crime Lab testified that she found fibers on the victims’ clothing which were microscopically similar to items in the Baldwin and Echols residences….

Detective Allen asked him (Misskelley) if he could come with him to the police department to talk about the case. The appellant readily accompanied Allen. He was not handcuffed and rode in the front seat of the car.

The two arrived at the station at approximately 10:00 a.m. Detective Allen and Detective Bryn Ridge questioned the appellant for about an hour when they became concerned that he wasn’t telling the truth. In particular, he denied participation in the cult activity, a statement which was at odds with what other witnesses had said. At this point, the detectives decided to advise the appellant of his rights. Detective Allen read him a form entitled “YOUR RIGHTS,” and verbally advised him of the Miranda rights contained in the form. The appellant responded verbally that he understood his rights and also initialled each component of the rights form. There was no evidence of any promises, threats or coercion.

The form also contained a section entitled “WAIVER OF RIGHTS,” which read as follows:

I have read this statement of my RIGHTS and I understand what my RIGHTS are. I am willing to make a statement and answer questions. I do not want a lawyer at this time. I understand and know what I am doing, no promises or threats have been made to me and no pressure or force has been used against me.

The waiver was signed by the appellant.

After he was advised of his rights and had waived them, the appellant was asked if he would take a polygraph examination. He agreed that he would. Detective Allen took the appellant to look for his father so that his father could grant permission for the appellant to take the polygraph. They observed Mr. Misskelley driving on the same road they were on, stopped him, and received the authorization. There was no evidence of promises, threats or coercion.

Upon returning to the station, Detective Bill Durham, who would administer the polygraph, once again explained the appellant’s rights to him. The appellant verbally indicated he understood, and initialled and signed a second rights-and-waiver form that was identical to the first.   http://courts.state.ar.us/opinions/1996/cr94-848.html

Damien Wayne ECHOLS and Charles Jason Baldwin v. STATE of Arkansas CR 94-928 S.W.2d  Supreme Court of Arkansas    Opinion delivered December 23, 1996

Where two witnesses testified that they overheard appellant Echols state that he killed the three boys, this was direct evidence; a confession is sufficient to sustain a conviction if it is accompanied by other proof that the offense was committed by someone….

There was substantial evidence of the guilt of appellant Echols where, among other things, the testimony of witnesses placed him in dirty clothes near the crime scene at a time close to the murders; where two independent witnesses reported Echols’s statement that he had killed the three boys and was direct evidence of the statement; where a criminalist from the State Crime Laboratory and a State Medical Examiner testified concerning the similarity of fibers found on the victim’s clothes with clothing found in Echols’s home and the serrated wound patterns on the three victims that were consistent with, and could have been caused by, a knife found in a lake behind appellant Baldwin’s parents’ residence….

Echols admitted on cross-examination that he had delved deeply into the occult and was familiar with its practices and where various items that had been found in his room supported the State’s theory of motive that the killings were done in a satanic ritual; where an expert in occult killings testified that there was significant evidence of satanic ritual killings; where a detective testified that Echols had made a statement regarding the mutilation of one of the victims that the jury could have reasonably concluded he would not have known about unless he had been involved in some manner; and where Echols’s testimony contained additional evidence of guilt….

Echols admitted on cross-examination in the penalty phase of the trial that he had an altercation with his father in which a knife was involved and the police were called; where he admitted that he was hospitalized that same day and that when his father came to the hospital, “I told him I would eat him alive”; where headmitted that he tried “to claw the eyes out” of a student; and where a psychologist who testified for Echols admitted that Echols had “an all-powerful God-like image of himself,” that his parents were concerned with his satanism or devil worship, and that Echols’s medical records included notations of statements by Echols pertaining, among other things, to his rage and the drinking of the blood of others….

Where one witness testified that appellant Baldwin had told him that he had dismembered one of the boys, sucked the blood from his penis and scrotum, and put the testicles in his mouth, and where an expert on ritual killings stated that one of the facts that led him to believe that the killings were cult-related was that one of the victims had been castrated and had had the blood sucked from his penis, there was sufficient evidence of appellant Baldwin’s participation in occult activities, and the trial court correctly allowed the evidence….

Twelve-year-old Christy VanVickle testified that she heard Echols say he “killed the three boys.” Fifteen-year-old Jackie Medford testified that she heard Echols say, “I killed the three little boys and before I turn myself in, I’m going to kill two more, and I already have one of them picked out.” The testimony of these two independent witnesses was direct evidence of the statement by Echols….

Dr. Dale Griffis, an expert in occult killings, testified in the State’s case-in-chief that the killings had the “trappings of occultism.” He testified that the date of the killings, near a pagan holiday, was significant, as well as the fact that there was a full moon. He stated that young children are often sought for sacrifice because “the younger, the more innocent, the better the life force.” He testified that there were three victims, and the number three had significance in occultism. Also, the victims were all eight years old, and eight is a witches’ number. He testified that sacrifices are often done near water for a baptism-type rite or just to wash the blood away. The fact that the victims were tied ankle to wrist was significant because this was done to display the genitalia, and the removal of Byers’s testicles was significant because testicles are removed for the semen. He stated that the absence of blood at the scene could be significant because cult members store blood for future services in which they would drink the blood or bathe in it. He testified that the “overkill” or multiple cuts could reflect occult overtones. Dr. Griffis testified that there was significance in injuries to the left side of the victims as distinguished from the right side: People who practice occultism will use the midline theory, drawing straight down through the body. The right side is related to those things synonymous with Christianity while the left side is that of the practitioners of the satanic occult. He testified that the clear place on the bank could be consistent with a ceremony. In sum, Dr. Griffis testified there was significant evidence of satanic ritual killings….

Echols took the witness stand, and his testimony contained additional evidence of guilt. When asked about his statement that one victim was mutilated more than the others, he said he learned the fact from newspaper accounts. His attorney showed him the newspaper articles about the murders. On cross-examination, Echols admitted that the articles did not mention one victim being mutilated more than the others, and he admitted that he did not read such a fact in a newspaper….

Jason Baldwin does not contend that there was insufficient evidence of his guilt. This is, perhaps, in part, because of the testimony of Michael Carson, who testified that he talked to Baldwin about the murders. Carson’s testimony, in pertinent part, was abstracted as follows:

I said, just between me and you, did you do it. I won’t say a word. He said yes and he went into detail about it. It was just me and Jason [Baldwin]. He told me he dismembered the kids, or I don’t know exactly how many kids. He just said he dismembered them. He sucked the blood from the penis and scrotum and put the balls in his mouth. http://courts.state.ar.us/opinions/1996a/961223sc/cr94-928.html

Appeal puts 3 Ark. boys’ murders back in spotlight
By Jill Zeman Bleed AP October 2, 2010 (the article discusses both sides of the case in detail)
….Echols’ statement under cross-examination that he was interested in the occult, as well as a funeral register found in his room with hand-drawn pentagrams and upside-down crosses. Echols’ journal was also admitted into evidence, and “it contained morbid images and references to dead children,” the court’s opinion noted. Echols’ statement to police shortly after the murders that he understood the boys had been mutilated, with one suffering more serious injuries. That information hadn’t been released to the public, the opinion said. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/10/02/AR2010100201274.html

Larry King Live  “West Memphis 3″ Follow-Up
September 7, 2010
During last nights show on the “West Memphis 3,” we shared statements from Diana Moore, mother of murder victim Michael Moore, and the Arkansas Attorney General, whose office will defend the conviction of Damien Echols before the Arkansas  Supreme Court later this month….

Statement from Diana Moore, mother of murder victim Michael Moore:
In 1993, all I wanted was justice for Michael, Christopher, and Stevie, and closure for myself, and my family. 17 years later, still no justice, or closure.

Since the convictions, the media has made it a point to make this case all about the convicted. I would like to take this opportunity to remind people that three innocent 8 year old children were brutally murdered, and these three men were convicted on the evidence presented to 24 , (in total), juror members that voted unanimously to convict.

Not one of the celebrities interviewed in this program has ever bothered to personally read the case file at West Memphis PD, or speak to anyone involved in prosecuting this case.

My little boy died that day. I’m his mother, and wish to say that the public remains ignorant about what happened in court primarily as a result of the Paradise Lost films, and the writing of Mara Leveritt. My voice is small compared to theirs, but I believe more relevant. They weren’t there during the trials, and they didn’t lose anybody. I lost almost everything, and not a day goes by that I don’t mourn for Michael. The public should think about that before casting their lot in with Eddie Vedder and Natalie Maines.
(Eddie Vedder and Natalie Maines also replied to Diana Moore.)http://larrykinglive.blogs.cnn.com/2010/09/07/west-memphis-3-follow-up/

United States Presidents and The Illuminati / Masonic Power Structure.

By: Robert Howard

Hard Truth/Wake Up America

Ezekiel, 33:6

Updated 09/28/2001

Introduction

I have always seen list’s of famous Masons. To just look at the name means very little. When you date and place those names in the proper time line and placement of power you begin to see the deception and vastness of this power elite. What will shock you even more is to learn who the powers are behind the Freemasons. Notice the death’s of non Masonic presidents or those who lost favor, and the shuffling of the vice presidents to get them in the position of takeover before the presidents were killed or removed. Note also the number of presidential running mates who lost the race for presidency were Masons also. A win win situation regardless of the outcome of the election. The Mason’s have controlled this country from the beginning. Another interesting fact to consider is that of the 37 Presidents of the United States before Jimmy Carter, at least 18 or 21 (depending on which source you believe) were close relatives. That comes to somewhere between 48.6 percent and 56.7 percent-far to much to be coincidence, as any conspiritologist (or mathematician) would tell you. Of the 224 ancestors in the family tree of 21 Presidents, we find 13 Roosevelt’s, 16 Coolidge’s, and 14 Tyler’s. Another source manages to relate 60 percent of the Presidents and link most of them to the super-rich Astor family. This data does not include genealogies of the five most recent President. Psychologist G. William Domhoff claims that a large part of America’s Ruling elite, just like that of Europe, are related by marriage. (Everything is Under Control. Conspiracies, Cults, and Cover-Ups by Robert Anton Wilson pg 39-40)

This article is not intended to defame this country’s forefathers. See Secret Societies All I am doing here is listing the facts. I will list other authors articles for you to refer to as corroboration. These names were compiled from the Masons own list of famous names posted on there websites. (See Links Below), along with other reputable sources. The names used in this document have been used from that list along with a brief summary of who they were,(*Encyclopedia Britannica, 15th edition.) and the role they played in our history.
Keep in mind, you can not be a Christian and a practicing Mason, its an oxymoron. There are those who would write history in a form to hide its true meaning and agenda’s. Rewriting U.S. History So it has been from the beginning.  (The Masons write most of American History, for example the Mason’s own Encyclopedia Britannica). The red dates are confirmed Mason Power years over this country as far as the Presidency, or Vice Presidency is concerned. This Page will be updated often. Please revisit.

I will let the facts speak for themselves.

As a Mason goes through the 32 degrees of the Scottish rite, he ends up giving worship to every Egyptian pagan god, the gods of Persia, gods of India, Greek gods, Babylonian gods, and others.  As you come to the 17th degree, the Masons claim that they will give you the password that will give him entrance at the judgment day to the Masonic deity, the great architect of the universe.  It is very interesting that this secret password is “Abaddon”.

Revelation 9:11 They had a king over them, the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon”  The ‘angel’ of the Abyss (Hell) is really the chief demon whose name is Abaddon.  Masons claim then, that the deity they worship is Abaddon!

Abaddon and Apollyon both mean Destroyer. See: Destruction of the Trade Centers: Occult Symbolism Indicates Enemies Within Our Own Government

“The world is governed by people far different from those imagined by the public.”
Benjamin Disraeli, Victorian-era Prime Minister of Britain,

Mat 21:42] Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the scriptures: ‘The stone that the builders (aka Freemasons) rejected has become the cornerstone; by the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes’?
[Mat 21:43] Therefore, I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that will produce its fruit.

“The great strength of our Order lies in its concealment; let it never appear in any place in its own name, but always concealed by another name, and another occupation. None is fitter than the lower degrees of Freemasonry; the public is accustomed to it, expects little from it, and therefore takes little notice of it. Next to this, the form of a learned or literary society is best suited to our purpose, and had Freemasonry not existed, this cover would have been employed; and it may be much more than a cover, it may be a powerful engine in our hands… A Literary Society is the most proper form for the introduction of our Order into any state where we are yet strangers.” (as quoted in John Robinson’s “Proofs of a Conspiracy” 1798, re- printed by Western Islands, Boston, 1967, p. 112)

1534 Church of Jesu. ( aka Society of Jesus, Jesuits the power behind Freemasonry) Also headquarters of the Knights of Malta.

Founded in 1534 by Ignatius Loyola founder of the Illuminati, to combat the reformation and propagate the faith. (Reformation being salvation thru grace instead of the Catholic Church.) The Jesuit General, and the other high Jesuit Generals, they are sorcerers. They are LUCIFERIAN, and they worship what they would call Lucifer. They do not believe in Satan. They believe in Lucifer. This society is the power behind the Presidents, and the rest of the world.. The Jesuits obviously wrote the Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion, because they have carried out every protocol in that little handbook. They have carried everything out. The Black Pope

1590’s – Sir Francis Bacon, beginning in the early 1590’s, began the detailed plans by which North America would be colonized.  He was the supreme adept in the Rosicrucian Society, and established the super secret Knights of the Helmet [Ibid., p. 123-129], a society established along the lines of Rosicrucianism.  And, finally, Bacon was responsible for the modern birth of Freemasonry, as detailed by Masonic author, George V. Tudhope, in his book, Bacon Masonry , ISBN 1-56459-108-5, reprinted by Kessinger’s Publishing. Thus, we can see that the occult activities of our original occult Forefathers mentioned above was merely the outworking of an occult plan originally conceived “thousands of years before Columbus ever sailed”!  Our Masonic forefathers were merely following the details of the occult plan as envisioned specifically by Sir Francis Bacon in the 1590’s, operating according to the vision provided him by his Guiding Spirit. Masonic Forefathers

1733 – In the United States, the first Masonic circles began to appear in 1733; by the time of the American Revolution, nearly 150 lodges existed throughout the colonies.

1761 – James Otis, born in Mass. Known for his famous challenge to the British -imposed writs of assistance- general search warrants designed to enforce more strictly the trade and navigation laws in North America. At this time he also reportedly coined the euphonious, oft-quoted phrase, ” Taxation without representation is tyranny.” He was chosen as speaker of the house in 1766. Confirmed Mason.

1764 – Samuel Adams, born in Boston. A major propagandist, opposing British officials and policies, as well as British taxation in the colonies. In 1773 he participated in the planning of the Boston Tea Party. Adams also signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Served as delegate to the Continental Congress until 1781, and became governor of Massachusetts from 1794-97. Confirmed Mason and Illuminatist.

Other Parts of the World England. 1765-1795 Edmund Burke, born Dublin Ireland. Entered the House of Commons in 1765. As a member of Parliament he became known as a Political thinker and important in the history of political theory. Confirmed Mason.

1773 It’s just like Freemasonry. The lower Freemasons have no idea that the High Shriner Freemasons are working for the Jesuit General. They think that they’re just doing works and being good people. But the bottom line is that the high-level Freemasons are subject, also, to the Jesuit General because the Jesuit General, with Fredrick the Great, wrote the High Degrees, the last 8 Degrees, of the Scottish Rite Freemasonry when Fredrick protected them when they were suppressed by the Pope in 1773.So, you have the alignment with the Jesuit Order and the most powerful Freemason they had in the craft, Fredrick the Great, during their suppression. That is an irrefutable conclusion. And then, when you see the Napoleonic Wars, the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars carried out by Freemasonry, everything Napoleon did, and the Jacobins, whatever they did, completely benefited the Jesuit Order. The Black Pope

1775 – Joseph Warren, born Roxbury, Mass. Solder and leader in the American Revolution who sent Paul Revere and William Dawes to Lexington and Concord on their famous ride to warn local patriots that British troops were being sent against them. Helped draft a group of protests to Parliament known as the “Suffolk Resolves. “Confirmed Mason. In December 1769 Warren, received commission for the Earl of Dalhousie, Grand Master of Masons in Scotland, appointing him Provincial Grand Master of Masons in Boston and within 100 miles of the same. The commission was dated May 30,1769. When the Earl of Dumfries succeeded Dalhousie as Grand Master of Scotland he issued another appointment to Warren, dated March 7,1772, constituting Warren “Grand Master of Masons for the Continent of America,” thus extending his original limits.

1775 – Paul Revere, born in Boston. Hero of the American Revolution whose dramatic horseback ride on the night of April 18, warning Boston-area residents that the British were coming. Confirmed Mason. GRAND MASTER GRAND LODGE OF MASSACHUSETTS A.F. & A.M. 1795 – 1797

1776 – John Hancock, born in Mass. Wrote and the first to sign the Declaration of Independence, and served nine terms as the Governor of Mass. Confirmed Mason.

1776 – Benjamin Franklin, born in Boston. Was one of the diplomats chosen to negotiate peace with Great Britain, and who helped draft the Declaration of Independence, one of the 56 who signed this document, and was instrumental in achieving the adoption of the U.S. Constitution. Was also a Mason. Franklin was the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania and published the first Masonic book in America. Was also a member of Sir Francis Dashwood’s Hell Fire Club, along with the Collins family of Satanists. Both Franklin and Thomas Jefferson were members of this purely Satanic group who practiced satanic sexual occult rituals. (The Illuminati Bloodlines, Fritz Springmeier)

“Remains of ten bodies at Ben Franklin’s home”

Workmen have dug up the remains of ten bodies hidden beneath the former London home of Benjamin Franklin, the founding father of American Independence.

The remains of four adults and six children were discovered during the 31.9 million restoration of Franklin’s home at 36 Craven Street, close to Trafalgar Square. Researchers believe that there could be more bodies buried beneath the basement kitchens.

Initial estimates are that the bones are about 200 years old and were buried at the time Franklin was living in the house, which was his home from 1757 to 1762, and from 1764 to 1775. Most of the bones show signs of having been dissected, sawn or cut. One skull has been drilled with several holes. Paul Knapman, the Westminster coroner, said yesterday: “One cannot totally discount the possibility of a crime. There is still a possibility that I may have to hold an inquest.” Ten Bodies Found Under Ben Franklin’s Home

1776 The Illuminati formed a committee entitled the Biblical Destruction Group. This committee disbanded 50 years later. To Eliminate the Opiate” (out of print) by Rabbi Antelman. The APOCRYPHA

1776 “From the Jesuit College of Ingolstadt is said to have issued the sect known as ‘the Illuminati of Bavaria’ founded by Adam Weishaupt. Its nominal founder, however, seems to have played a subordinate though conspicuous role in the organization of this sect.” [Occult Theocracy, Lady Queenborough, originally published in 1933] On May 1, 1776, the Order of the Illuminati was officially founded in the old Jesuit stronghold of Bavaria. The Company would now use the Jewish House of Rothschild to finance the French Revolution and the rise of Napoleon the Freemason with his Jesuit-trained advisor, Abbe Sieyes. In spite of the historical writings of the Jesuit Abbe Barruel, who blamed the Rothschild’s and Freemasonry for the Revolution, it was the Society of Jesus that used these very tools to carry out the Revolution and punish the monarchs who dared to expel the Jesuits from their dominions. The Jesuits, having been expelled from the Spanish Empire, found refuge in Corsica. From there they raised up their great avenger, Napoleon Bonaparte. The Black Pope

1776, Adam Weishaupt, a famous Mason, had developed the Illuminati, a secret society within a secret society. One Masonic historian himself has stated that the goals include “found[ing] a new Hierarchy, to overturn all authority, and to press down all the Social Order under the level of Equality.” Another Masonic historian stated “the express aim of the Order was to abolish Christianity, and overturn all civil government.” In Weishaupt’s own words, the Illuminati “will by degrees, and in silence, possess themselves of the government of the States, and make use of those means for this purpose….” illuminati_faq.htm

1777 – Baron Von Steuben, born in Magdeburg, Prussia. German officer who proved indispensable to the cause of U.S. independence by converting the Revolutionary Army into a disciplined fighting force. While in France as agents of the newly formed U.S. government, Benjamin Franklin, and Silas Deane, learned of Steuben’s plight that he had been obliged to leave for unsavory conduct, from Hohenzollern Hechingen, where he was made a knight of the Order of Fidelity in the neighboring margravate of Baden and Durlach, which brought about his availability. This prompted a letter of introduction, from Benjamin Franklin, and Silas Deane on his behalf, introducing him to Gen. George Washington as a “Lieut Genl. in the King of Prussia’s service,” who was fired with ” Zeal for our cause. Confirmed Mason.

1777 – Lafayette. French noble who fought with the American colonist against the British in the American Revolution. Confirmed Mason and a member of the Illuminati. Appointed a major general by the colonist, he quickly struck up a lasting friendship with the American commander in chief, George Washington, also a Confirmed Mason. Charles Taze Russell (founder of the Watchtower and Bible Tract Society), also a Confirmed Mason. His stepmother who was executor of his will. His mother was the one chosen to dance with famousMason and Illuminati Lafayette when he was in Philadelphia. 1.(Nevin, Adelaide Mellier. 1779 – John Paul Jones, Scottish- born navel hero in the U.S. War of Independence, renowned for his victory over British ships of war off the east coast of England (Sept. 23 1779).Confirmed Mason.

1782, On July 16, the year after the British surrendered to the Americans,  representatives of the world’s secret societies convened the Congress of Wilhelmsbad in Europe and formally joined Masonry and the Illuminati. In the next four years the Order was able to secretly establish several lodges in America. In 1785, for example, the Columbian Lodge of the Order of the Illuminati was established in New York City. Its members included Governor DeWitt Clinton, Clinton Roosevelt …(p.92 New World Order: The Ancient Plan of Secret Societies, William T. Still, 1990)

“When the Mason learns that the key to the warrior on the block is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the mystery of his Craft. The seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly handle energy.” (Manly P. Hall, The Lost Keys of Freemasonry, p. 124; )

The question of precisely what fires the will of the wealthy supranational elites seeking to manipulate and control world events, has not escaped the attention of serious students of conspiracies and cover-ups. The late American Professor Revilo P. Oliver, a confirmed atheist, was forced to conclude: “A theory that a conspiracy has been working consciously for many centuries is not very plausible unless one attributes to them a religious unity. That is tantamount to regarding them as Satanists engaged in the worship and service of supernatural evil. The directors of the conspiracy must see or otherwise directly perceive manifestations which convince them of the existence and power of Lucifer. And since subtle conspirators must be very shrewd men, not likely to be deceived by auto-suggestion, hypnosis, or drugs, we should have to conclude that they probably are in contact with a force of pure evil.” (Prof. Revilo P. Oliver, Conspiracy or Degeneracy?, USA)

“In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.”
(President Franklin D. Roosevelt)

WE NAME PRESIDENTS

In order that our scheme may produce this result we shall arrange elections in favor of such presidents as have in their past some dark, undiscovered stain, some “Panama” or other – then they will be trustworthy agents for the accomplishment of our plans out of fear of revelations and from the natural desire of everyone who has attained power, namely, the retention of the privileges, advantages and honor connected with the office of president. The chamber of deputies will provide cover for, will protect, will elect presidents, but we shall take from it the right to propose new, or make changes in existing laws, for this right will be given by us to the responsible president, a puppet in our hands. The Illuminati Protocols

1783 The Revolutionary War was fought and concluded when Cornwallis surrendered to Washington at Yorktown. As Americans we have been taught that we defeated the king and won our freedom. The Treaty of 1783, which totally contradicts our having won the Revolutionary War. This Treaty was signed in 1783, the war was over in 1781. If the United States defeated England, how is the king granting rights to America, when we were now his equal in status? We supposedly defeated him in the Revolutionary War! So why would these supposed patriot Americans sign such a Treaty, when they knew that this would void any sovereignty gained by the Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War?The United States is still a British Colony

By the way, Prince Charles Coat of Arms has another symbol–The Order of the Garter. The Order of the Garter is the parent organization over Free Masonry, world-wide. When a man becomes a 33rd Degree Mason, he swears allegiance to that organization, and thereby to Prince Charles. The Bible gives us 42 signs of the Antichrist

1785 President George Washington, in a letter written to the Reverend G. W. Snyder:  “Reverend, Sir, it was not my intention to doubt that the doctrine of the Illuminati — the principles of Jacobinism — had not spread in the United States.  On the contrary, no one is more satisfied of this fact than I am.”  Shortly before he died, President Washington was well aware that the Adam Weishaupt radical brand of Freemasonry, the Illuminati, had spread its poison to America.

“It doesn’t matter who the people voted for; they always vote for us”.

– Illuminati Statement –

United States Presidents Who Were and Are Freemasons

The United States of America was actually formed on March 1, 1781 with the adoption of The Articles of Confederation by Maryland whose delegates delayed its ratification over a western border dispute with Virginia and New York. Upon the March 1 ratification the President of the Continental Congress officially became President of the United States in Congress Assembled.
To make matters even more perplexing some historians claim that John Hanson was the first President of the United States as he was the first person to serve the full one-year term (1781-82), under the ratified Articles of Confederation. This again is incorrect.
The ratification occurred during the term of Samuel Huntington who served as President from September 28, 1779 to July 6, 1781. Consequently, Samuel Huntington was thefirst President of the United States in Congress Assembled. The 1st President of the United States

George Washington1789-1797 George Washington, 1st. President of the United States? (F) Confirmed Mason. Initiated: November 4, 1752, Fredericksburgh (Fredericksburg) Lodge No. 4, Fredericksburg, Virginia. Brother Washington became Worshipful Master on December 20, 1788, and was inaugurated President of the United States on April 30, 1789, thus becoming the first, and so far the only, Brother to be simultaneously President and Master of his Lodge. Washington took his oath of office as President, April 30, 1789, on the bible belonging to St. johns Lodge No. 1 of New York City. (The New Age Magazine, January 1953, pg. 44) The New Age Magazine is a Masonic publication. Also a member of the Knights Of The Garter. Order of the Garter is the core leader of the Committee Of 300. Note: In Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Jersey extermination was officially promoted by a “scalp bounty” on dead Indians. “Indeed, in many areas murdering Indians became an outright business,” ( Historian Ward Churchill, A LITTLE MATTER OF GENOCIDE; HOLOCAUST AND DENIAL IN THE AMERICAS, 1492 TO THE PRESENT (San Francisco: City Lights Books, 1997). ISBN 0-87286-323-9. pg.182) Indians were defined as subhuman, lower than animals. George Washington compared them to wolves, “beasts of prey” and called for their total destruction.( David E. Stannard, AMERICAN HOLOCAUST; COLUMBUS AND THE CONQUEST OF THE NEW WORLD (New York: Oxford University Press, 1992). ISBN 0-19-507581-1. pages 119-120)

Washington, the Freemason who did not go into that Masonic Lodge that last 30 years of his life—in his own words—who was a Baptist and a Calvinist. He was baptized in the First Baptist Church of New York by one of his captains, Pastor Gano, all surrounded by Calvinists. That’s why they didn’t surrender at Valley Forge; that’s why, when they were naked, when they went through the snow, barefoot, they endured that because they were Bible-believing Calvinists and they refused to submit to the tyranny of King George, who was controlled by the Jesuits. The Black Pope

1789 John Robison warned all Masonic leaders in America that the Illuminati had infiltrated into their lodges and on July 19, 1789; David Papen, President of Harvard University, issued the same warning to the graduating-class and lectured them on how the influence of Illuminism was acquitting on American politics and religion, and to top it off; John Quincy Adams, who had organized the New England Masonic Lodges, issued his warnings. He wrote three letters to Colonel William L. Stone, a top Mason, in which he exposed how Jefferson was using Masonic lodges for subversive Illuministic purposes. Those three letters are at this very time in Whittenburg Square Library in Philadelphia. In short; Jefferson, founder of the Democratic Party, was a member of the Illuminati which at least partly accounts for the condition of the party at this time and through infiltration of the Republican Party; we have exactly nothing of loyal Americanism today. THE ILLUMINATI AND THE COUNSEL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS
